Hi, I am semi new here and I am loving your trip report, it is very entertaining!
Oh and the "pretty women" thing just irks(for lack of a better word) me! I totally would have walked into the store and quoted julia roberts lol. No one deserves to be treated like that. A lady at a jewlery store pulled that stunt on my father when he asked to see some earrings, I cant remember her exact words but it was to the extent of these over here are cheaper, and she did it more than once! (he had been working outside all day so he wasnt the cleanest, her mistake!)he told her I didnt ask how much they were I said i wanted those. She changed her tune when she saw that he had a credit card with the store and his credit limit, then she got all nice and had the nerve to ask if he wanted something else! Needless to say my mom was not happy when she found out the way he was treated and she returned them to the manager and explained why, she told her I cant keep these knowing how my husband was treated when purchasing them. The sales lady hasnt been seen since
serves her right. I'd send a letter to those stores managers as well as to the hotel.
