Terminal gangway damaged!!!
I am still unpacking and won't be able to sit down for a complete trip report. But, we were onboard when a 60+ mph wind came on 11/28 while boarding and ripped the gangway and moorings from the ship. Thank goodness no one was walking on the gangway to get onboard. We had to leave the terminal, float to another berth to pick up the 70 passengers and crew that hadn't yet boarded and got a little later start but everyone was fine. Our cabin (6550) was right above the gangway so we were able to see and hear everything - the banging was so loud and scary. When we left the ship, we had to get off on Deck 1 - I don't think they'll be boarding through the atrium for several weeks until everything can be repaired.
I'll post pictures as soon as I can get them uploaded.
