Shoebuy.com $9 back offer

I did this offer a couple of weeks ago, rec'd the shoes and have the $9 pending til the 15th. Problem is, I need to return the shoes for a bigger size - does anyone know what this will do to the $9 credit that is on hold?

It's kind of a crap shoot. Normally they would take the money back for shopping. But since this is an offer, they may not.
