Here are two interesting things that I ate today on plan that didn't feel like they were on plan.
A steak from Laura's Beef. It was basically 1 point per ounce before cooking. So a 4 oz steak was 4 points. Not bad at all. I ate about 5 ounces because it was so tasty. It was part of my new plan to try to make my dinner points more about protein and less about carbs. Fruit cole slaw. Have you seen the broccoli cole slaw mix? It looks like regular cabbage slaw but is made with broccoli. I combined half a bag with one container of peach WW yogurt. Then I added dried cranberry, a little pineapple, and some chopped up apple. A nice sized bowl of it was only 1 point! And it was very filling because of all of the roughage in it. So my dinner in total was 5 oz of steak, a big bowl of fruit slaw, a small plain baked potato, and fresh green beans. 9 points. A little on the high side, but it seemed like a feast!!
