She is doing great. Still getting the stares though. She doesn't care though.
I have been getting lots of wonderful letters from friends who donated. All have there own stories of friends or family who have been touched by cancer.

Hey Karen,
Since we have a lot of people who are not from the DIS, you should tell the whole story about your daughter. I think everyone would really be inspired by it!

 We have been very fortunate to not have had anyone in our family taken by cancer but I wanted to share how my little cousin grows her hair very long every year just to donate it. She has been doing this for many years and now most of the girls at her school do this. Isn't it great how young ones are so giving.
