My favorite Halloween memory was going into labor with my son who was a week overdue after a long night of trick or treating with my daughter. The doctor wanted to induce me that morning and I decided to wait one more day so she could be a princess!
I went with my sister, niece, husband and my 3 kids to a very involved, participating neighborhood. We walked until exhausted and had a ball! =)
My favorite Halloween memories are of my Dad, taking us trick or treating when we were children. It was fun!
My favorite memory is of a Halloween party that we had at our home. We had lots of scary foods & decorations. It was a lot of fun. 🙂
When my son was 4, my father-in-law passed away at Halloween time, preventing my son from going trick-or-treating since we were traveling. When we returned from the funeral, we found that a elderly neighbor lady had arranged with all the neighbors for our son to go trick-or-treating after we got back.
My favorite is the first Halloween I remember. I was 4 and Cinderella. I thought I was a princess.
My favorite memory was last halloween when my 2 year old thought halloween was when you got to turn into whatever you were dressed as and be that forever. She was a Bumble Bee and now refers to herself as BZZZZ BZZZZ.
My favorite Halloween memory was my first year in a new neighborhood. I had made some great friends and they knew all the good streets and houses to go to. We were out for hours, having lots of fun, then went back to my house to enjoy some hot chocolate as we looked at the bounty of candy that we had gotten.
My favorite memory was my oldest child’s first Halloween.I made her a cute little teddy bear costume.I took her trick or treating(she was 10 months old). She was so excited abput seeing all the people.
My favorite Halloween Memory is going out with my 2 daughters a couple of years ago- one was 12 and the other 9. We had an unusually warm Halloween with temperatures in the mid 60’s for the evening, so it was nice since they did not need to wear coats or freeze while trick or treating. It was great being able to see all the kids costumes that night, and I think more parents were out because of the nice weather that night too.
My favorite Halloween memory is when we took a Disney World vacation in early October and we told our son we would be attending the MNSSHP. What we didn’t tell him was that I had pulled together an outfit he wanted to be Darth Maul and had brought it with us so that he could dress up for the party. I had a skull cap that was painted black and red and had the horns, he had the black robes, gloves, etc. He really looked like Darth Maul and people were asking to take pictures with him!! He had the best time in the park that night and I will never forget how much he enjoyed that night at the park!
My favorite Halloween memory was when I was a kid and after trick or treating I came home with my friends and we dumped our candy onto the floor and traded the candy with each other.
Carving pumpkins and then roasting the seeds.
Thanks for the contest.
My favorite Halloween memory is taking my grandson trick or treating since he was little and now taking my granddaughter on her first Halloween!
My favorite Halloween memory was going around our neighborhood in the snow one year and getting hot chocolate at a neighbors house.
When I was 5 and was a cowgirl…cap gun and all.
I remember having a big party every year at my grandma’s house and playing the spider sting maze.

Trick or treating in the rain!
I lived in an apartment myself and one Halloween night I got a knock on my door and this big monster creature pushed through my door, acted like a madman, then ran through the house and out the back door. Too this day I have no idea who that was, but it scared me half to death.
I remember dressing up my son as Frankenstein and I was the Bride of Frankenstein. Our costumes came out so good.
My favorite halloween memory has to be the year I dressed up as an outhouse.
My favorite Halloween memory is one year my boys were too sick to go out so we just stayed in the house and watched the Halloween movies. We had a really great time
I love Halloween. It is my favorite holiday of all.
My family would go all over trick or treating, and we would each have a brown paper bag full of candy, but my favorite was the home made brownies and fudge. We trick or treat in the 60″s and you could trust you neighbor then.
My favorite Halloween memory was when I dressed up as Tweety Bird. Thanks for the giveaway!
my favorite Halloween memory is getting a full-sized candy bar when trick-or-treating
I remember filling a paper shopping bag as a kid, probably why I have so many cavities
My favorite Halloween Memory was last year because it was the first year both my girls were big enough to actually walk and say ” trick or treat”! The 1 year old had so much fun getting goodies at everyone’s houses and then we had a big bonfire in our neighborhood and made s’mores afterwards! It was a fantastic night!
My favorite Halloween memory is taking my daughter trick or treating when she was 5 years old and dressed as an angel.
My favorite Halloween memory was my neighbor and I taking the kids Trick or Treating with all of our winter gear on. It was very cold outside but we didn’t even notice because we were in good company!
My favorite memory is when my mom made me and my sister matching clown outfits. She was so creative!
My favorite memory was when I was a kid we used to dress up in one costume, make the rounds then come home and change into another and do it again. I know, sounds awful but it was so much fun!
As a kid, I used to dress up for Halloween… and answer the door to hand out candy. It took me a while to figure out that I was supposed to go from house to house to get candy!
I loved the year (sometime in the 70’s) when I got to dress up like Woody Woodpecker. That mask was so hot but I thought I looked so cool! : )
Going trick or treating.
I have so many Halloween memories!! My family is nuts about Halloween and it’s a blast every year! Probably the best is when my now husband and I started dating, he dressed up as my dad for Halloween. It was funny to everyone buy my dad!
My favorite Halloween was 2 years ago when I took my daughter to Disney. I loved the decorations and just the feeling of Halloween in Disney. I also loved trick or treating through disney!
When I was about 6-8 years old, I wanted to be a princess so my mom got me a typical long, white, princess costume with long sleeves. I loved it! It even had a sheer overlay over the skirt lining. Come Halloween night, though, we realized it was too long with sneakers. My mom isn’t a seamstress but tried to think of something to fix it as we were trying to get out the door. In a pinch, quite literally, she pinned up the sheer layer to the lining every few inches all the way around so (1) I wouldn’t trip and (2) it wouldn’t drag on the ground and get dirty. It would have been all good…had she not used *straight* pins!! Every time I took a step: “Ow. Ow. Ow.” At the time, we lived in a semi-detached house, so there wasn’t a lot of distance between each home. We made it as far as three houses down from either side of our house before we gave up. It was cold and it was just her and me. Needless to say, I didn’t get a lot of candy that year. Now I’m 30 and married and she and I still joke about that night!
I loved Halloween as a kid. We would go trick or treating after school and come home for dinner, my mom would make chicken soup, and then we would go back out for more trick or treating and then come home and sort our candy.
My favorite Halloween memory was my daughter’s 1st Halloween! She was dressed as a bumblebee and it was so sweet 🙂
