Zooboks has now been increased to 7.50!! This is a very popular offer for those of you with kids.

Oh guys if you have kids you really need to do this one. I  it and Justin and the girls love it even more than I do! These magazines don't have any advertising so the whole book is about the animal of the month. It is 20 something dollars for 12 months. It ends up being about 2.00 a month. They have two different sets also. One for toddlers and one for school age kids.

eta... already got my pending credit!! That will give me a good start for next month!!

Alright - Procrastination pays off:rotfl: I'm scared though - I pretty much never get credits for the offers I do - I hope this one credits for me....

Make sure that you have your Sunshine Rewards userid in your member profile here on the forum so that when you are posting questions about things, we can take a look at your accounts. It's the easiest way for us to keep an eye on credits when people are talking about them. :)

I ordered this last night and my pending credit was in my account the next time I checked it :D

My DS10 was not interested in this but DD9 wanted them. Janet - they won't be too young for her, will they?

I really don't think it would be too young for her. All of my kids love it and my niece who is 13 spent more than an hour last week with Justin reading the one of insects. If she loves animals of any kind I think she will find plenty of great info in there. They also have posters that she can collect.

You know - I did this yesterday & was all excited to get the $7.50 instead of $5.00, til I got home. I had printed the offer out the other day to show DH. Well, the printout showed the cost of the magazine as $23.99. Yesterday, I paid $19.95 for the mag & $7.95 for shipping - $27.90 total. So, they increase our payback by $2.50 but increased the mag by $3.91 - I feel totally duped now. I'll just have to watch these offers more closely next time.

This offer clearly states the 27.99 total, but, I can understand because the price of mailing has gone up for them too, so I would expect that the price of the offer would have to go up too. Its good that they increased the payback, they could have kept it at 5.00 and it would still be a good deal.

Does anyone know how soon magazines start to arrive once you place your order?

The confirmation says to expect your first copy within 4-6 weeks!

So are we allowed to do the Zootles offer and the Zoobooks offer, since they are seperate in offers? I may do one for each child.

If you do it now it'll post probably on the hour but with a post date of 7/15 for next quarter.

I might be the guinea pig on this one... I already received credit for the Zoobooks (credit hold til 7/15). I did the Zootles one yesterday, so we'll see if I get credit for that one also. The Zootles one did say to allow 24 hours for credit. I think I did it around noon yesterday.

Sice they are listed as seperate offers you should be able to do both offers. BTW, I wouldn't be suprised if the credit doesn't come through until some time Monday even though it says 24 hous.

Yeah...good point about Monday.

Sorry if I missed this, but is it okay to do this, but as a gift to another home? I wanted to get a gift subscription for my 5 yr old neice & nephew. Just wanted to make sure that w/b ok since different name and mailing address.

(I didn't click on the offer yet, so not sure if there is someplace to select as a gift...)

TIA!

As long as you go through your link you should have no issues. It doesnt really matter who you send it to just that you use your link. I can't remember if there was a place to send as a gift but i bet there would be.

disney_girl
06-28-2008, 12:56 PM
Yes, there was a spot to select if this is for a gift. In that case the mailing address and billing address would be different. I can't see that this would be a problem for the offer!

Thanks! I'm always afraid to click an offer for fear it will negate the click I do when I'm actually ready to fulfill the requirements. They are moving down to FL soon, so I wanted to order so they have something waiting for them!

I believe Zootles shows up when you put in the child's birthdate. I did not see another way to "choose" it.

I actually have the Zootles one on hold because we had a couple of purchases Friday that haven't come through yet. I emailed the affiliate manager to see if that is normal (maybe they only update weekly?) but I haven't heard back yet.

Question for ya experts!

I've got two kids I think this would make great birthday presents for (yes I'm that aunt) the one's birthday party is at the end of the month (would I receive the first offer by then) and the second one isn't until closer to Christmas (poor kid). So would I be able to receive the credit twice?

Any news on this? I still have no credit for it. I was going to order the regular Zoo Books too but wanted to wait to make sure I get credit for the Zootles first. Thanks!

Credits are coming through for the Zoobooks offer that is out there just fine. But for the Zootles one, the company has not responded to me. Which really ticks me off because I am working with them directly on the Zootles offer. I tried posting on an affiliate forum and they said that they quit working with them because of their bad service. I'll try again tomorrow and see if I can escalate it with someone. I ordered two myself and didn't get credit.
