Disney is set to use Flogos, a new special effects machine that creates icon shaped clouds.

Developed by magician Francisco Guerra, the Disney Flogo will send Mickey shaped 'clouds' into the sky.

The logos are created by a foam mixture of soap, water, air and helium which are forced through a stencil. The images can be as wide as 4 feet and can float up to 20,000 feet high and travel for 30 miles.

Can't wait to see one of these clouds!!

I don't think it started until June 29th or 30th ? I found a video on the web of it, it is pretty cool.... pretty small though once it floats up, but when they are first letting them off and you can see up close it looks like a bunch of little bubbles all packed together.

So I watched the video on the Flogo's website today. I really thought they'd be ginormous so that you could see them from the sky but they looked to be really small in size. It seems like they might be hard to spot and you'd need superstar eyesight.

Has anyone seen them in person yet - mickey shaped or otherwise??
