Make sure you get a lipstick brush as well if she doesn't have one. It's the only thing missing from the kit that would be very useful. :)

Just wanted to pipe in that if you are tired of yanking out your eyelashes at night when removing your makeup I just did a review of Make Up Forever's remover on my chattywomen blog which is carried by Sephora. It is fabulous and at some point I reviewed Pop Beauty's palettes over there and those are nice as well.
