New Offer--Magazine Markdown

We have a new offer that is kind of interesting, especially for those of you who buy a lot of magazines. You order any two magazines and get 10.00 back. Cindy and I compared the mags and prices to Magazine Discount Center and found that some of the prices were lower on while, while some were lower on the other. Plus, they each had some diferent magazines that the other didn't have (someone was looking for Military Vehicles last week?). So check it out. I'm not sure how long we will have it. But it definitely could be a good deal if you are in the market for some subscriptions.

I was a little put off when I went to the family and children section and one of the pages had a near porn magazine there. It was called Deaf Life and was right above Disney princesses. :)

Cindy and I saw that, too. LOL! I think it must be a database error because the magazine that appears wrongly also starts with a "D." I'm guessing that there is an error in the database of the company that they pull the mags and descriptions from. It was a little bizarre when we came across it!!

I just placed an order and it instantly credited with a pending hold date of 9/15. :cooldance: There were a couple of magazines my 13 year old had been wanting so it seemed like a good opprotunity to place that order.

Maybe I'm just having a senior moment :D but I can't find the actual subscription info for the titles I'm interested in...

Am I correct in assuming these are 1 year subscriptions? Also is there a way to see how many actual issues there are for the subscription period?

It's quite possible that this is a manual credit. With the weekend and holiday yesterday, I wouldn't expect to see it yet.

I didn't receive credit. And although they charged my PayPal account, they never sent me a confirmation email, only a "Welcome to Magazine Markdown" email.

When I filed a TT, I find out that they won't even review it since I don't have a confrimation email from them... which they never sent! :headache:

I did try submitting the email confrimation with all the details from Pay Pal but that is apparantly not good enough! :computer: I sent them a rather crisp email asking that a formal confirmation be sent or I would cancel the Pay Pal.

I'll let you know if I hear anything. Needless to say, I am definitely "underwhelmed" with this vendor.

i'm somewhat interested in buying some magazines from this merchant but i have some questions. first, do you have to buy 2 subscriptions to get paid the $10, second, did everyone who did this offer get credit and third, if you don't get credit can you file a tt if you have a confirmation email but if you don't have a confirmation email are you sol or are you able to go back to this merchant and dispute it? any info you can give me regarding these questions would be greatly appreciated.:thanks:
