Hooking up speakers on a Dell?

Anyone have any experience hooking up speakers on a Dell desktop? Apparently Mom's were never set back up after she got her computer fixed last Oct. For soem reason this has become a pressing issue now. :confused::confused: Googling seems to think I just need to plug them into the green dot, is it really that easy?

It should be...at least that's all I've ever done.

We just set up our new dell desktop today :clap: Just checked with DH and he said, yes, there is just one plug (from the speaker with the volume dial) and it goes into the back of the computer where the green dot is - the other speaker plugs into the first one. :sunshine:
