American Express offers

How long do these take to show up in your account? I know there will be a hold on them since they are big offers, but wasn't sure how long they took to post for the hold. It has been about a week or since I completed them.

These are a little different than most of the offers because the credit card companies decide when they consider the offer to be "completed." Sometimes it is when your application is approved. Sometimes it is not until the first time that you use the card.

It took me a really long time to get my credit for Amex, I think AFTER I used the card once, but I did get the credit.

I did both the Amex Blue Cash and the Amex Hilton Honors. The Blue Cash you had to get approved, activate, and then use the card once. With the Hilton honors, you had to get approved and activate the card. I was approved, activated both, and used them to purchase.

I didn't know if they pulled the offers every so often or how these worked, but I will be patient and wait. Thanks for the replies.

I did the Amex Blue offer and never got credit, don't know why. :( I have even used it now and got 3 statements.

I got my credits for both Amex Blue and Amex HHonors. HHonors credited within a few days of completing the offer. The Blue was a hold until Oct. 15th.
