I just put up a new offer that allows you to make a donation to the USO that will be used to provide soldiers overseas with prepaid calling cards to use in phoning home. I love this type of campaign as I have a true heart for our men and women in uniform. I tested it before adding it and got credit quickly.

If this is something you would be interested in doing, the payout is $3.00 on a donation of any size!

ABSOLUTELY I am doing this. We've done 1 tour so far where DH was in Iraq for a year. Coming up on another next year.....this one touches my heart.

you have to donate a minimum of $15. Tax deductible whatever amount you choose. Consider it a Christmas gift, like Toys for Tots or the like- trust me, they are appreciated. :)

are there different payment options available for this offer (paypal, credit card)? i really want to do this as it is a worthy cause but my credit cards have been stretched a little thin lately so if they take paypal i can do that. any answers you can give would be greatly appreciated. :thanks:

I don't think you can file a TT for at least 10 days. I think mine credited overnight if I'm not mistaken.

Just a reminder that this offer is still up and available. It seems to be doing well and is a perfect way to include a member of our armed forces on your holiday shopping list. This donation is tax deductible.

This offer has just been updated. They are still requesting donations of calling cards for US Soldiers stationed in Iraq. There is a new, higher payout of $4.00 with your donation of $20.00. I think that previously they allowed donations of $15.00 for credit. They have increased the required donation but have also increased the incentive.

If you are interested in helping the USO, this is a great way to make a tax deductible donation and earn $4.00.

Can you do this offer again if you did it the first time?

I did it back in Nov, but would be happy to donate again.:)
