Wow! It is like having another Lisa around here. I should have tried in the earlier days of SR before all the big earners got here. Now I'll never have a shot. lol

I was #15 for the month of October. I seriously, really thought about trying to get on the top 10 board. I was down about $20 and I would have had to do the "Paid offers". I did about one or two and it took up a lot of time. I usually try to do at least one "paid offer a day". If those would of came through, I probably would of been in the top 10, but I am not to lucky anymore with them.

I am so excited , I just jumped to #8 from 140something!!! I caught my husband last week about to place a huge Oriental Trading order (over $1000) for work WITHOUT going through SR, but I was able to stop him in time and it just credited for me this morning. I am not sure if I can stay on the board, but it's so nice to se my name there. It making me think about ways to keep it there!!

I saw the Big Board on like 11/1 or 11/2 and Steve had $158 already for the month. What in the world does someone do to get that much in 1-2 days??

Once again, all I can say is WOW! Not only is this good for him, but it appears that today's BB posting is good for quite a few folks (SR included!!!!!)

What's the trick to making that much in a month? I just can't get close to that amount. Is it mostly shopping? :)

My guess is ordering some sort of supplies, food, gifts etc for an office? I know some work in a dept where they do the ordering.
Mine is 3 survey's a day and now holiday shopping and lots of new offers SR has put up.

I'm thinking he did an awful lot of office or Christmas shopping in Oct/Nov to be at $455! I'm at a disadvantage for that since I don't work, so I don't get to order stuff for a job and get credit for it. Poo.
And all those people at over $100. All I can say is Wow! I'm at $11.xx, LOL

I'm one of those over $100 and here's how I did it:
$38 in Surveys and Bonus from last month
$31 in Offers - some paid - Vista and Silkies
$45 in shopping - Xmas Shopping and DD birthday
And that's how you get to over $100 in a month!! I'm trying to hold onto being in the Top 10 but the competition is fierce this month!!

Holy Cow!! I'm glad I wasn't competing this month as I've yet to start shopping. I'm ready now, though! :rotfl:
When I do make the BB it's from personal shopping. I wish I could by for my job. Nope, scratch that. That would mean I would have be working somewhere. I'm happy at home.
DD19 shopped for my mother at Womanwithin last week and I didn't even have to tell her to go through SR. Now that's what I call trained.:rotfl:

Hmm, I'm sitting at #28, only $420 or so behind Steve S!!:rotfl:
Seriously, would be nice to be able to order office supplies or something on someone's else credit card and get SR cashback for it - but...and I don't mean to be snarky or flame anyone or anything like that, but my DH wondered if that is really entirely ethical or fair to be getting cashback on office supplies like that, esp. if you ordered it using a company CC. His thought - but it does make me wonder too.
And I have been over 100 a month before just with surveys/offers, even b4 I did much shopping, so I'm not fussing about my earning potential or what I have gotten, nor am I really jealous of what anyone else has gotten, either. Just clarifying!

I think it's the same thing as frequent flyer miles - DH does a lot of flying for work but he gets to keep the miles. And he doesn't have a separate company credit card, so whatever he charges on our cards we get the rewards and he gets reimbursed by the company. Just a different way of looking at it! :sunshine:

Steve actually isn't ordering office supplies. It's his own credit card. :) I think it's part of his home business.

Actually, some of the companies encourage it and use that money for office treats, parties etc....I think its a pretty smart way to do business. I worked for a veterinary office and tried to get them to order all their scrubs that way through SR, but we couldn't get cooperation from the workers, management was fine with it.

I wasn't targeting him or anyone, making assumptions abt him specifically, or wanting to know how he earned his SR! But that's fine. Hope his business is doing well.

That's fine, then. If the companies don't care, no problem. As long as it works for them, I don't care either. Like I said, my DH just wondered.

I'm with you Jen.........someone I recently refered does all the ordering for the Law firm that she works for (and a very prominent one in Boston).....Besides the lawyers she is the only other person with the company credit card and they have already told her they don't care who she orders from as long as they get what they need! I told her she needed to really be doing SR....how cool to make money that way (and she is a hard worker with 3 kids so extra SR money is fantastic all the way around)
Now if only I could squeak out a little more money just to make it to #10 (sorry Pat don't want to kick you off!!)
