We just added another merchant with a nice collection of Webkinz: fye.com (http://sunshinerewards.com/shopping/fye/).

They are actually running a deal on their site right now for the Webkinz:

LIMITED TIME OFFER: Add 3 Webkinz to your cart, enter coupon code WEBKINZB2G1NJD in the Promotional Code area of your Shopping Cart Page to receive your 3rd Webkinz for free!

I just tried the code and it's not taking it off my 3rd one. The code is even on the front page of the website. I went as far as entering my cc info then stopped.

Has anyone else had better luck?

Just talked with the AM, that coupon should not be up there, he said they don't even sell them, so its being taken down.

Cindy I don't think the AM knows what he is talking about. F.Y.E. clearly sells webkinz lol and the banner is on the front page of the FYE site. Now it does say that they order directly from Ganz to get thier webkinz but when you go to fye without clicking a banner it takes you to a page with the very first thing being a banner that says Buy2 get 1 free. I wonder if there is some confusion somewhere.

What he is saying is that the Webkinz weren't suppose to be sold on that site, the programmer messed up, only CD's DVD, stuff like that, which, when I look at the site, makes sense, having the webkinz doesn't. Who knows.

Well POOP! ~ I got all excited because DD's are wanting webkinz for christmas. So.... I just went to the site to check it out and decided to check back on this thread to see how long it would ( the code for the 3rd) be there.
And saw your post Cindy. Im glad I popped back to read a bit more.

Well it seems to be working for some so you might want to give it a try.

I figured out why it wouldn't work for me. One of the one's i put in my basket was the 14.99 and that's not part of the promo.

Ok so when I'm putting items in my cart it tells me 1.02 more and you can have free shipping. So I make sure I hit the $25 but then it doesn't give me the free shipping, this time I entered my cc info and went all the way through except hitting submit and it wouldn't give me the free shipping even though it indicated that it would if I had enough in my cart.

I closed out again bc it just wasn't a good enough deal with the amount they wanted to charge in shipping (and I did add a DVD to my cart to purchase).

Anyone else get the free shipping also?

I'm not sure what was in your cart but when you click for "more details" this is what I found in regards to free shipping:

2 - Proceed to Checkout
3 - Select 'Budget' shipping as your shipping method on Final Order Review page
4 - Your shipping amount will be $0.00 (only if the 'Budget' ship method is selected)
5 - Review your cart and process order

Terms & Conditions

* Offer valid on CDs and DVDs only
* Applies to order with Budget shipping only
* Items weighing 20 lbs. or more are not eligible for free shipping.

Well, now I'm going to unclear cause he just notified me again and said that they are selling the Webkinz, but you can't combine them with the CD's, DVD,s to get the buy two get one free, maybe because they do ship from another company, so, I would suggest that anyone that wants the webkinz not to put anything else in your cart.

Webkinz fans-Limited Too has certain ones BOGO. http://www.limitedtoo.com/special/Select_Webkinz/220
It's only $5 for shipping, which is less than the second Webkinz.

What age groups are Webkins geared towards? Just trying to figure out if they are in the age range that Mike and I need to shop for or if they are inbetween.

from what I've seen, it's as much a lifestyle regional thing as an age thing. I've seen people say it's only for little kids (5ish), but some tweens love 'em. Me, I had to quit it cold turkey b/c I was spending too much timwe on there. :rotfl:

My DD, age 9, is constantly asking for more - she has over 20 Webkinz and keeps wanting more. And, yes she does play with the actual animal and play on the Web site. My niece has been into them, she is 12 - but I'm not sure if she still plays with them. My nephew, 10, likes to collect them too.

My DS9, DD6 and DD5 all love them and DS9 actually was the first to get one on his 8th bday. The girls need help playing on the computer but they play with the doll itself too.
DS9 likes the computer aspect of it, but I know a few of my friends who got addicted to their kids and got one of their own! lol
