View Full Version : Is anyone else getting this....

When you log onto the forum, do you get a survey that shows up quick and disappears. If so, let us know which banner is on the page you are on and if you can see who the survey is from that would be helpful. We don't allow this so we need to track down the culprit.

No I'm not getting it. I just logged on and off several times with different banners at the top just to see what would happen.

I had it yesterday but it was when I was browsing merchants. It was one of those small boxes like bizrate does. But it wasnt Biz. It was something with a S ... I dont remember. But it didnt open it I just closed it out. I didnt think it was from you all. But I will be on the lookout again.

I just got it...it's amch or something like that. I was on the forum home page and the Domino's sandwich ad was up. When I clicked on the Announcements section, the survey popped up and the banner on the Announcements page was for an AntiAging product. HTH.

Safecount.Net , Cindy. I tried to write down the web addy at the top of the window but it popped out before I could and my forum page went to Internet Explorer Web Page cannot be found. :headache:

I got a small pop-up survey after coming into the forum but didn't catch who it was. I closed it out but wondered why a survey was popping up in SR.

I'm trying to isolate which company is doing it. I just took off everything except for the coupons.com banner at the top. Let me know if anyone gets it now.

I've been trying all morning to get it again so I could catch the name, and of course now it won't pop up.

Do you think it might be Dominoes? It started about the time you started thier ad.

It's possible. It wouldn't actually be Dominos. It would be the advertising company that gave us the banner. It WAS a script, which means that they could have popped something up. But I would be very angry about that because we don't do popups on SR. And the advertising company that I got the banner from was pretty darn reputable--AOL!!

They might have not been aware of it and it was hidden. But then again you never know. Im sure it is disappointing and frustrating. I dont recall seeing the anti-aging ad only the dominoes or coupons. Anyway I hope we were able to help.

I didn't but then I have a pop up blocker on that catches some things.

I haven't gotten it today. Yesterday I think it popped up a bunch of times when i was logging on. It went through the Pop Up Blocker which was really weird.

I did go through the survey (I guess I just don't do enough surveys :rotfl:), and it was for dominos sandwiches.

But maybe since I did do the survey it won't pop up for me now. :confused:

I did get it a lot yesterday. I saved the link to it if you want - I can PM it to Cindy if you need it. I meant to open a TT to let you know about it...didn't want to mention it on the boards if I was the only one getting it.

Same here, it popped up quite a bit yesterday, but I have not seen it today
