With only a month left until Christmas, we are still busy handing out prizes!!

Today's contest:

Lots of people get part-time jobs over the holidays to make a little extra money for Christmas presents. Many people find jobs at places that they like to shop so that they can get discounts and perks. If you could work for any Sunshine Rewards merchant for a day, which would it be and why? One post will be randomly chosen as the winner!

That's a tough one..... I really would like to work at Sunshine Rewards and spread a little sunshine. But if I have to pick a SR merchant, I think I would pick Mrs. Prindables! Who doesn't love a sweet treat? Packing them up for a lucky recipient would be fun...at least for a day!

Shoebuy-out of pure curiosity. I had an interview to work for them about 2 years ago, but got a temp job and cancelled it. Especially as I'm now leaving the customer service field, I'm just curious as to what their business model is like.

I'd like to work at the apple store. I'd like to get paid for helping people with apple products. I'm already an unpaid tech for family and friends...would be nice to get paid for doing it :rotfl:

I think I would have to pick Sephora. I think it would be fun to look around, learn about and play with all the different products. It would be fun to get gift certificates and presents out the door. I love when I get to order from them especially after looking at their holiday catalog. I kind of feel like a kid look at the toy catalogs and wishing.

Oh that's tough but if I had to pick one store I spend the most money on it would be Target! My whole paycheck would probably be spent right back there and then some!

I would work two jobs..my day job would be to work at Southwest Airlines to get free flights to WDW and my night job would be to work at the Disney Store and possibly get discounted tickets to WDW! :D

Disney Shopping. Hands Down! I would love to get discounts on my disney trips and all of the cute clothes and items there. Second would probably be Kohl's. I spend a lot of money there on clothes and shoes for the family.

I would want to work for Nuts on the Net. I had a small problem once and they were so nice to talk with. Love their customer service, would like to part of a team like that!

I do work for a Sunshine Rewards merchant. Red32Designs. And man have we been busy for the holidays. But my dream job always has been with disney. I sat on an interview panel once for Disney Store and man that was tough. But I would work for Disney.

That's just SO easy! I'd work for Disney Shopping. Now that they're owned by Disney again, maybe I'd get a discount on park passes and I'd stock up! It would be so much fun to be a Cast Member, no matter how far from the parks.

For a real store, I'd have to say I would love to work at the GAP.
My dd worked through college there and the discounts were incrediable.

Now if I could work from home for a dot com store, it would be Ebay.

I would love to be one of the smart masses (that's what they call their employees and customers) at Thinkgeek. I have a long wish list right now with them. And I made the mistake of showing DS their sight. His wish list is longer than mine so I would love an employee discount.

Toys R Us! ~ Being that I was an employee there for 4 yrs until the closed our store :cry:. I was the event cordinator there and I had so much fun.
~ Black Friday was my FAVORITE :party: day to work. I always had doughnuts for everyone when we got there and had a quick pep for everyone before we opened 1 person would always get $25 just for showing up to work.
I also would have lunch catered by one of the surrounding resteraunts for in which we would give them toys to donate. Every shift change one employee would get a reward.

I still wake up at 4:00 am that morning. And in OCTOBER I feel the twitch.
It's in my bones and I love it.
The downfall as to why I dont go to another store is because its a 40 min drive :(

I have worked for two SR merchants in the past -- Target and Joann's. As much as I love shopping at Target, I did not care for working there (my management sucked.) Joann's was great because it allowed me to express my creativity more and there were lots of people to egg me on with my quilting.

However, I always LOVE looking through the Lakeside Collection catalog. I think I'd probably go there this time around, then maybe Joann's!

Well my first two answers were immediate - disney or sephora. I think ultimately I'd go with Disney though....the true fan couldn't resist the urge to work for them in almost any manner. :minnie: :mickey:

I would definately pick Kohls. It is my favorite store for the whole family and if you work there you get a 40% discount. I love their Christmas department. I also love meeting people and love the retail field even though I work in a hospital.

That's a hard question, so many SR merchants would be fun to work for, especially for a day. I think I'd have to say Sephora, all those testers! I would love to help the customers "play" with the makeup. I'd also stock up at the end of the day with my employee discount.

I would get a part time job at a travel agency. Anytime I can get discounts - is great. I know a friend who is a travel agent and frequently gets to travel for free to "check" things out for her clients.
