View Full Version : Received Disney GC's Today But...

I cashed out for 4 $100 GC and 1 $50 GC, and I intended to put the $50 one in DD's Christmas stocking. Disney sent me 1 $200 GC and 1 $250 GC! Now what do I do? Anyone?

Maybe you can print something out that states that she has $50 to spend in Disney out of the gift card?

I am glad someone offered to do that. I would have loved to do that and get a bigger one, I have so many little ones. I leave soon though so it is better that you found Missy!

Can't you just take one to the Disney Store and buy smaller ones?

I have done that before at Target, turned a $100 into four $25's.

i sent the $250 one priority mail to pam (missymouse) to trade, and the post office lost it :( i'm so bummed...i worked all year for it, now it's gone and all they'll give me is the runaround.

How in the world did they lose it??? We send out hundreds of these things a month and they never lose them. Do you still have the number from the back of it?

How long ago did you send it. The mail is running super slow. It took me about 10 days to get a card from New York.

i sent it priority mail on december 8th. it should have been there in 2-3 days, but its been 10 days now and NO ONE knows where it could be. i even went to the main post office in my city this morning for help and they couldn't tell me anything.

idiot (me) didn't write down the number, i thought it was on the letter disney sent me. :( that one's on me.

I know this may be easier said then done but can we change where we get the gift cards. I get all mine from disneyland.com they are shipped out overnight mail with no cost to me and I always have a tracking number on every single one I get. It may be something to look into.

That's not the issue here. The gift cards arrived but Iluvamystery and Missymouse decided to do a swap on their own so a disney tracking number won't help in this case.

Do you have a tracking # for the priority package? If you don't, look on your receipt and it should be on there. At least you could look online and see where it says it went.

my tracking number still says that the package was accepted at my post office on december 8, 2008. there is no further information on it, and no one with the postal service can or will tell me anything else.

If that is the case it seems like it is still there. WOnder if it got in the wrong basket or misplaced. I'd start complaining to their supervisor.

that's what i just tried to do, but my post office closes for 2.5 HOURS for lunch! isn't that nice? only place i've ever seen that gets almost 1/3 of their workday for lunch, lol.

Never, never give up. I once had something come from the post office about 5 weeks after it was sent, so it is possible it will show up!

Good luck guys. I think you received some good recommendations so far. I learned a hard lesson similar to this with USPS and their "delivery confirmation" not being a tracking program.

Hopefully the letter will turn up. On that note, I am going to close this thread as it is really something that should be taken to PM between the traders and is not a SR related issue.
