Nothing like a hot mulled cider for me! If not that, hard cider is another choice.

We always get the sparkling grape juice. I'd love it if someone made apple cider too. My uncle does have some kind of wine at his party, but I'm not sure what it is. I've tried wine twice and didn't like it either time, so I'm not trying it again.

I don't really have a favorite holiday drink but what's a party without a couple of bottles of red wine - preferably Cabernat!!
For cocktails - I like gin and tonics!!

This is sooo not original or creative, but at our house, the girls insist that it is not Christmas without Martinellis Cider.

We have three favorites in our house over the holidays:
* Amaretto and Orange Juice
* White Russians
* and we always have a shot of something our friend calls a Sicilian Kiss... equal parts amaretto and Crown Royal

A little Bailey's always gets me in the mood for the holidays.
One of my favorite recipe's
1 shot Bailey's
1 shot Kalua
a little splash of Goldschl?ger
always gets me in the holiday spirit!
I won't post the name of this drink here, being that it is a family friendly board!;)
Rosa Regale is my first pick (and I just picked up a bottle earlier this week :cooldance:) but if I'm not up to going to get it I'm also found of Beaujolais nouveau, which you can only get this time of year.
Funny story, we picked up a bottle of Beaujolais nouveau at Trader Joe's last year for $9, then saw it being sold it Epcot for $25. :rotfl::rotfl:

What's a TN Christmas without boiled custard? My daddy used to make it, every year, but now we just but it.
For you Yankees, it is sort of like Egg Nog, but we cook it to almost boiling and stir the fire out of it to keep it from sticking. Then, we cool it down in a bowl of ice water and continue stirring. Refrigerate when done. It is easier to just go to the store and buy it.

I used to enjoy, make and serve many "Pointsettas".
Just like a Mimosa. Champange and Triple sec, but instead of Orange Juice, use a splash of Cranberry Juice and garnish with 3 cranberries on the cocktail straw/sword.
Looks nice, very festive and Tastes even better!

Love Egg Nog this time of year. It used to be soooo much better before we knew not to eat raw eggs. Now I just buy it ready made at the liquer store. I also enjoy a Black Russian; they seem to warm you from the inside out when you've been out in the cold.

I always make this punch for the kids on Christmas Eve, but I love it and drink it too!
I mix a punch bowl with 1 large can of pineapple juice, 1/2 Hawiaan Punch, 1/2 Ginger Ale, and lime sherbert. It is yummy and it looks red and green!
