Mine would be when the SunshineUncle passed away in August, and I'd find my PM box overflowing with people who wanted to send something to SC and SG. That's the proof of how good the SunshineRewards family is, in my book.

My best memory of Sunshine rewards was the very first scavenger hunt on the site. It was new and so much fun. I could hardly wait for the clues to come out. Wish we could do more of them.

There was a site questioning the credibility of Sunshine Rewards and our members banned together and stood behind Tricia and SR! It really felt like a team effort and showed what a great site Tricia has built!

I have a lot of SR memories, but my absolute best was walking into the port for the cruise and Traci screamed, "Shelly" and gave me a big hug like she'd known me her whole life. We were instant friends!

Hmm there are many but I guess it would have to be how the SR gang pulls together for one another. Not one member that i'm aware of batted an eye when talk came about for getting money together to get Tricia a Birthday present or Sunni an "encouragment" gift. These are the memories that keep me coming back to SR everyday.

My best memory of SR was when I reached $20 (I know, seems so small!). I remember thinking I would never earn enough to cash out and then I started trying surveys, shopping, etc. and saw that I could earn some money for doing just a little!

Mine HAS to be the cruise. Decided to go at the last minute and I missed my family every second of the trip...BUT everybody was so friendly and made me feel a lot better (or was that the wine and martini tasting?!?). I have made some amazing friends on here!!!

Mine is probably receiving my first Disney giftcard in the mail. It was my first cash out and it made it all the more real-er when it came in the mail. I even used some of it this past Christmas to buy presents for my kids! Now |I am hoping to save the rest for a future Disney trip.

It was very difficult to choose just one favourite memory but I've decided to go with my fav chat memory. There was a fairly large group of regulars in there and we all got on board with sending a bridal shower gift to Cate and a wedding gift to Dude. Such a good example of how we have come together as a community. :sunshine:

Oh my word, there are SO many. SR has brought so much fun and laughter to my little world.

One of my most favorite SR moments was when the "Party With a Star" offers started and we were all laughing about partying with Ant, Chingy, some porn star, etc (most of has had no idea who these "stars" were). For whatever reason it still makes me giggle just thinking about it. I even remember that someone earned a "Honey, Chingy's at the front door and he's here to party with you" tag under their screen name. Totally dumb, totally obscure, happened a long time ago (6/07 I think), but it still makes me giggle like a school girl when I think back about it.

A fun memory for me was when the Arcade was first put on and I stayed up way too late too many times trying to get a top score and then had to drag myself out of bed at 4:00 a.m. to get ready for work.

I guess reading the cancer free post from Sunni was one of the many that stands out this year.

I hate to be one of the first, but this east coast working girl needs to hit the sack soon. Wrap up some cake for me and I'll have it for breakfast.

My favorite memory involves the rewards. DD and I went to WDW for the Food & Wine Festival in October. We ate at some of the signiture places and it was so wonderful to whip out a gift card and pay pennies on the doller for those meals. I'd look at DD and say "Aren't you glad I do Sunshine Rewards?" Thanks SR! :sunshine:

My favorite memory was the SR Cruise contest. I tried really hard shopping and doing surveys and having fun along the way. I was so sure I was going to win I couldn't wait for the day to come when the announcement was made. Unfortunately I didn't win- but sure had fun trying.

I have 2 favorite memories.

One was when I met the SR New England Gang and Cindy and Angie at the SR Boston Meet. To finally get to meet the people you chat with everyday and to put a face to a name was just amazing.

The second Memories was when Jen in Michigan (Magical JenK) sent Lisa in Texas (Blessing and Miracle) some snow! :hugs:

My best memory is all the love that is demonstrated here. If you are down, people jump in to give you support, if you have something to celebrate, they are right there with you. And, best of all, there is so much tolerance on this board. Everyone assumes the best of each other and they don't immediately take offense by something that is said. The catfights, found on many other boards, just don't exist here. Before things get out of hand, someone steps in and reminds us that we are hear to be supportive friends and the written word doesn't always come across as well as the spoken word. And, then, amazingly, everyone agrees.

I agree with everyone, there are so many to choose from. But the one that really sticks out in my mind for me happened shortly after I joined the forum. I was having a hard time b/c we had just moved and then DH lost his job a month later. Bryan (bs4free) and I went into the chat room and "talked" until 2 or 3 or maybe 4 about the silliest things. I didn't realize it at the time, but he made me forget about my troubles for a short time and laugh. It was that moment that I realized that I had lucked upon a very special place with a lot of very special people!:heart:

That is when I realized this community was great and I really wanted to be a part of it. I love how everyone pulls together and helps...encourages ...just listens....you all are amazing and caring!

I was going to say that it was when I finally got up to $20, thanks to a Blockbuster trouble ticket, and after that things just took off.

But then I remembered...this was the *only* safe place I could think of to share my concerns about DS. He had attacked me horribly, and I was scared out of my mind to think of what the problem was. I later figured out that it was "only" an extreme sensitivity to corn syrup (and anything with those two words in the name), but at the time I was terrified, and felt safe here. Not anywhere else, not even on mothering.

So...not a truly happy memory, but it's nice to feel safe.

This is a tough one. I could say that it was when I cashed out in August '08 for my Disney and Landry gift cards. I could not have ever in my life imagined that I could earn $375 in 4 months to spend on my WDW vacation. Now of course that would not have been possible if I had not discovered and signed up with SR in April '08. So maybe April '08 is the best date because not only did I earn the gift cards, but I earned something better, a wonderful and supportive group of people of which to become a part.

So many to choose from......how to decided......hmmmmmmm....I'm giving you 2 (sorry so hard for me to narrow)

When my daughter Sydney and I came home from her dance recital rehearsal and she begged me to do a videoblog for SR (yes she refers to it as SR when she talks about it....I am training her early).....and she was so excited that she helped me 'win' a giftcard! She still talks about that video and we did it in June 08.

My next one is when I was finally able to meet the girls at our SR meet......my girls refer to it as my "G.N.O" (for those of you who don't have Hannah Montana fans in their home......Girls Night Out.) Marilyn (Sunni) and I drove down together and I felt so at ease.....it was as if I had always known her! And the rest of the Gang did not disappoint either. I felt like a child meeting up with penpals!! We all had 'talked' so many times on SR, but to finally meet up with everyone was wonderful!! Which reminds me we need to plan another Meet!

My memory is when Tricia answerered questions on the Budget or Rewards Board on the DIS, it seemed so long ago, and it was less than 2years ago. ( I still see her occasionally over there, lol).

My other memory is having $75 in WDW gift cards that I earned to take to WDW. When I returned I from WDW in April 2007, I think Tricia opened her own forum and then I found out how to really earn the big bucks. On my last trip I had $850 is WDW gift cards. When I showed my dh my gift cards, he just about flipped out. He told me a couple of years ago, that if I am going to be on the internet, I should find a way to make money. I guess I showed him.

One of my favorite memories has to be "Rosa Regale and Truffles" night when SunshineCindy was at my house. That was so insane that even SunshineGuy couldn't stay out of it.

But honestly with about 15 hours a day of memories, 7 days a week for 3 years...I don't think I can choose a favorite!!
