Updated 10/11/10: SR offers 7 daily survey opportunities. A few are run through the same survey pool so read below to maximize your earning potential. Please note SR can't track down credits for surveys so you can't file TTs.

What you NEED to KNOW about these new opportunities:

1. Your2Cents is Greenfield surveys run through a third party. Since it is a Greenfield survey, the pool of available surveys will shrink during times where there are not a lot of surveys running if you do 2 a day. Tip: To help alleviate a shrinking pool enlist your husband/significant other to be a daily survey taker. Assign yourself to the Daily Surveys each day and your loved one as the official Your2Cents survey taker using their demographics and email address. Same rules apply with using the same demographics and email each time you take a survey. Meaning you can't change your email to try and open up new surveys. Also, once you assign yourself or your loved one to taking a specific set of surveys (daily vs. Y2C) you can't change it. So choose wisely in the beginning.

2. SSI and SSI 2 are the same survey company - different links. Please use the method noted in #1 above to maximize your survey opportunities. Only 1 survey per person, per link. There is some tracking mechanism on these so keep the same person doing the same survey link - don't mix it up. You MUST clear cookies between doing the SSI and SSI2.

3. Surveyhead - credits immediately upon completion of the survey. As far as we can all tell, you are able to switch who in your household does these. When there are no surveys available, Surveyhead will redirect you back to the SR main homepage. Don't freak out. Just try again later.

4. MyView - As far as we can all tell, you are able to switch who in your household does these.

5. AMP/OTX - There is a long version and a short version. You can complete 1 in total between the two links per 24 hour time period. Tracking is very strict on these and they will hold you to 1 per 24 hours.

6. This is the most important one. YOU MUST CLEAR COOKIES BETWEEN SURVEYS FOR SAME COMPANY SURVEYS. MEANING IF YOU TAKE A DAILY SURVEY AT 10 AM YOU HAVE TO CLEAR COOKIES AFTER YOU COMPLETE IT BEFORE YOU CAN START YOUR YOUR2CENTS SURVEY AND VICE VERSA OTHERWISE THEY WILL NOT CREDIT. EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE GREENFIELD DAILY SURVEY WILL CREDIT WITHIN 2 HOURS. DO NOT CLEAR COOKIES UNTIL AFTER YOUR SURVEY HAS CREDITED.

7. You can take 1 survey in a 24 hour period.

You may want to add or here's an other tip:

When you don't qualify for a survey through Y2C and it says
"take another survey or try for another survey" and gives you a button to click on, you CAN click on it.

BUT If it says "were sorry, no survey's available" you MUST close out that window entirely and go back through the main SR page to access Y2C to try again. I learned my lesson the hard way, way back when.
You'll be able to complete a survey BUT you won't get credit for it, if you don't close out that window and start over.
I originally just tried going back through it using the back button and that won't work.

Also TRY these ONLY after your DS bc it could effect you getting a DS therefore going for the DS bonus.

I've been taking both DS and SM survey myself. If I assign dh to take the SM surveys, does he need a new email or can he use the email I use to take the DS(same one i use for SR)?

As stated in that last part of the sentence he would need his own email separate from yours when taking surveys.

I am confused, does it ask somewhere for your email addresswhen taking y2c surverys? How do I "assign" my husband as y2c taker?

Yes - there is a spot for email - make it a different one from the one you use for the DS, and put your husband's demographics in instead of yours.

HTH.

I clear cookies once every morning and that's it, unless I've been looking around the web and want to purchase something on SR, than I clear again. As long as you clear cookies once per day, you are good to go as far as surveys are concerned.

Agree, I don't clear between the 3 survey's and don't have a problem with credits. I clear 1st thing in the morning and that's it. I'll only clear during the day if I get the no survey's available, then i'll wait a bit, clear, and try again.

I'm really paranoid so I clear between all of them. I think if you do the Daily then the Y2C you are ok cookie wise without having to clear but if you do the Y2C then the Daily you run the risk of something getting overriden. I could be wrong though. It has been a while since I've looked at this thread. :)

So just to clarify, if a survey doesn't credit and I have run the test and it says I am okay, then the credit just didnt come thru? I can't file a survey issue w/gf b/c itisn't a tech problem right?

correct if you get the completed screen and dont recieve credit you can not file a dispute (trouble ticket) or file it as a technical issue since the survey didn't have a technical issue. If you are finding that you aren't getting credit for Greenfield Daily Surveys often then there is something on your computer causing issues because those do not track by cookies but rather by userid. I haven't ever in all these years had a DS not credit when I have gotten the congrats page.

I usually have no trouble with DS crediting; however, the 2x I have gotten the quintet this month the DS has not credited, (and all but one of the times last month!) even tho I did get the congrats page. I don't see why something on my end would be blocking the credit only on those days, or what could possibly be the difference on those days.

I don't have any way of knowing what it is that caused the issues with them crediting on those days. I do know that there were many, many, many people on those days that took the same set of surveys and got credit. That says to me that the issue is not a crediting issue on Greenfield's end. They aren't having an issue that is preventing the surveys from crediting so there isn't something that SR or GF can do to "fix" the problem. SR and GF would love to be able to figure out the issue every time a survey doesn't credit but since there are no changes on their end the most likely issue is on the end of the survey taker. It could be so many things when dealing with computers buy there just isn't a way for us to know why or how to fix it. All we can do is give you guidelines and best practices for getting the surveys to credit. Clearing cookies, making sure you don't have other windows or browsers open at the same time, making sure that you get the congrats page and using Internet Explorer are just a few. Will these things guarantee a credit will come through? No but they will help raise the odds. In the end when we are dealing with computers, the internet, cookies and security settings there are so many things that could mess up and keep a credit from coming through that it really is amazing to me that we get the majority of our credits...but we do. I'm sorry you have some missing credits and I can assure you if Tricia could get those credits for you (and her) then she would. Hopefully those are the last lost credits you have to experience. Good luck!

Oh I know if they could be retrieved they would be! I'm not really so upset - just that it's sort of disappointing to think I've gotten a quintet but then I didn't really! Outside of those days, I have no issues with the DS, and none with any other survey, thankfully. Hopefully it stops happening.....regardless, I'll keep trying, since the odds of credit are better that way!:p

I only had one time recently when my daily surveys didn't credit for two days. I thought long and hard and realized that SH brought me to the GF screen at times. Even though I clicked out of it, I'm wondering if that interfered with me getting credit on SR. Now I'm paranoid and clear cookies as soon as one survey credits before taking the next one. I haven't had any more problems since I started doing this.

on IE you go to Tools, then Interent Options, then delete cookies. not sure if it's different for Firefox or Chrome.

Hi SR Gang... I'm trying to get back into the swing of surveys. I've been seriously slacking :) I found this part after the fact, and was wondering if I can still change users. I did an SSI one day and an SSI2 another day (so only 2 in total). Only I used my info for both. Would it be ok to switch to me SSI and Ra SSI2 (that is what we do for Greenfield Daily & Your2Cents) and continue with that from here on out, since I have only done 2 so far? Or am I stuck with me doing both. Either way ok, any survey $$ is good $$. Thanks for any help!
