How to tell if you're addicted to SR.....

Your DSIL is telling a long story regarding buying Jet Blue tickets, and it takes everything in you not to interrupt and point out she could have made $7.50 if she went through SR.

Your husband orders stuff on the internet on a daily basis and you ask "Did you at least consider checking through SR" Of course he says "No, it would have only been about $2" and you argue that is significant.

As soon as you grab your laptop your small children says, "Mommy is getting ready to take a survey."

Your DS16 asks everyday if I had a chance to look up a driving school for him and I respond, "not yet, but I will." I leave out the part that I was too busy trying to get a trifecta. :D

When your DD19 calls long distance from school and I tell her I'm gonna call her back and when she asks why, I say, I'm taking a survey and I have to pay attention.

When something happens around here my kids ask me if I'm gonna share that with my Sunshine friends.

My children uses SR as a bribing tool. "Mommy, can you buy a new IPod. You can get it on Sunshine and earn some money back."

I don't care that DH is playing Call to Duty late in the midnight hours because I, too, am sunshining.:rotfl:

What I tell my friends sure I will get together after work....but first I need to let the dogs out and try for my DS survey (if I didn't have time in the morning) before I go anywhere.

Or try to work on an easy supper while working on a survey...funny how I start a meal and then get one. I need a recipe section for a survey and a meal :rotfl:

When you get out of bed, 15 minutes early, although you love to sleep and hate getting up but you have got to do your scratch off and hopefully a click. Oh, and if you haven't wasted too much time, check the forums for new messages.

And, then, check the forums, over and over at work, very cautiously so you don't get caught, because you have to see what is going on over at SR.

I saw an article about 10 ways to determine if you are addicted to facebook but thought many of the indicators applied to SR as well so here you go.

10 warning signs that you may be addicted to Sunshine Rewards

1. Sunshine Rewards is your home page.

2. You check new messages more than twice a day.

3. You have over 50 "friends" half of whom you've never actually met.

4. As soon as you step away from your computer you're on SR on your phone.

5. You are a SR stalker. You qualify as a SR stalker if you

a) click on someone's profile more than once a day to see if they have posted more messages than you.

b) actually go to a place mentioned on someone's post in hopes of seeing them in real life.

6. You change your profile picture more than a 12-year-old girl.

7. You have checked the SR forum page, most recent credits, or current earning page while reading this post.

8. You jump between flashchat and the forum so you don't miss anything

9. You have to get a Daily Survey in order to feel like you have had a good day, and for a really good day you get the "trifecta"

10. You check SR rewards to see if you can order the item online before going out to buy something.
