I'm a little confused. If I do shopping, am I not supposed to clear my cookies until I get credit for it??? Seems like I've read where some things don't credit for several weeks.

Don't let my paranoia mess with your head (I've posted about it recently). Listen to what normal people say, not me. :sunshine:

Others say 6 hours.

I'm jusy slowly losing my mind this time, that's all, ignore it! :p

I think the safe thing is to not clear cookies for 24-48 hours after you do the shopping.

So far, I have had no problem with recieving credit and I clear cookies several times a day. I have shopped close to 10 times.

And, it seems like there is no real consensus.:)But, I nearly freaked, a few wks ago, because I do clear cookies so often (now, after I get credit from an offering or at least 12 hours, or I get tired of waiting and want to do another offer...clear as mud, right?). At any rate, I had been shopping and never cookies a thought and went right ahead clearing left and right. So far, I have gotten all my credits.

Thanks for all the quick responses. I think I'll wait until tomorrow and then clear them. I guess if I lose, I lose!

I have no problems in getting shopping credits and I clear cookies all the time. I don't understand why you wouldn't clear cookies for a period of time AFTER you place an order?

Well, since it's been me that has been posting with questions about it recently...I know that with offers you want to wait a bit, in case whatever site it is needs to "check" (or however it's been explained). With shopping, I don't know how it works, but I've heard from early on that you need to wait a bit.

This week I'm more nervous than usual, and was getting nervous about things crediting, so I wasn't clearing cookies for the HIGHLY scientific reason of "just in case".

Made almost a whole day of offers not credit since the 'puter was chock full o' cookies. Brilliant of me, eh? :rotfl:
