Question about referrals

I might have a co-worker that is interested in getting a referral. I am not totally sure how to go about it by just giving her an URL to sign up with. I looked at the link to referrals on the home page and there was something on there about an ID#. Is the number that shows in my info page about referrals MY OWN unique number?? Or should they enter my email address for me to get credit? I hope you can understand this question!!

When you are on the sites news page you will find a link for the referral contest. Copy and paste this link into an email to your coworker. This link will give them an additional .50 for signing up on top of the 2.00 they normally would get. The link on that page is tailored to your id number. FWIW the number at the end of that link is your id number.
