Credit Reversals

I've been made aware this morning of a number of credit reversals across several different offers. Unfortunately, this means that we will need to reverse credits on individual accounts. It's not uncommon for offer credits to be revoked; however, the list I received today is a bit larger than usual. Please do not be surprised over the next 24 to 48 hours if you see some offer credit reversals on your account.

Note that reversals occur for a number of reasons. Often it is because our leads do not work out for the advertiser. This could be because of fraudulent information or lack of follow up or confirmation. I believe that some of the current reversals were not paid by the advertiser at all requiring us to reverse credits for every member who completed that particular offer.

Thank you for your understanding. Please know that we lose money when you lose money. We appreciate each of you and will continue to seek offers that are relevant to your needs and interests while also crediting well.

Wow! I think I have seen this happen only once before. I was victim of the emitations reversal on a necklace I wear every day.

We agree with all of you. These reversals really stink. We will be extremely careful with this advertiser/network in the future. I'm so angry with them right now, they'll be lucky if they get any business from us in the near future.

Please know that we don't like these reversals at all. It is our goal to help you grow your accounts not the other way around. Trust that we will be very cautious especially with the research study offers from here on.

Then I thought to come check the forum and sure enough, there was the announcement. :D I'm not happy about the reversals... who would be, right?... but I'm always impressed with what a great job the Sunshine Team does at keeping us members in the loop and informed. :clap: :thanks:

Same here I totally freaked out, wondering what I did, then saw the post, even though I was not happy about the reverals. I was just thankful that I didn't do antyhing wrong.

I got two debits today, it stinks!!! -$.50 for Gardener Research Study - Male, and -$.40 for WP: Social Beliefs Study.

I think I am going to stay away from offers from now on. I have spent up to 25 minutes clicking on them, just for one offer... and in most cases, they never credit! Plus, I got a computer virus after visiting one of the sites. :(

It's very rare that this happens. We get odds and ends reversals every now and again and don't bother to take the money back from the members unless one of two things happens: 1) the same member is getting so many reversals that the advertisers are telling us it is fraud, or 2) we get massive reversals all at one time.

In this case, it was hundreds of dollars all at one time. We are still arguing with them about it. It is our *hope* that we might still get the money back for the research study ones. They took it out of our account and are "investigating."

The good news is that this is NOT about Sunshine Rewards. It was the advertiser that revoked them across the board from incentive sites.

Believe me, we know how it feels when you log in and see your account go down. Imagine our horror when we logged into our account with the advertiser yesterday and saw hundreds of dollars disappear. BLEH!!!

If you stop doing offers completely, it's like cutting off your nose to spite your face! :eek:

Although it's hit or miss for me on the offers, I take it as part of the process and just keep plugging away...

Take a break it you need to, but come back and give it another shot!

Please, don't give up on offers! I've also been with SR for over 3 years. I think this is only the first time (maybe 2nd???) this has ever happened to me. I've done HUNDREDS of offers and they probably make up at least 1/3 of my earnings here. Take a break if you must, but offers are often a great way to earn some free $$!

That's what I can't understand, maybe it was the pure volume that came from us? I've only every qualified for one WP ( #1648553 Debit: WP: Social Beliefs Study-reversal (0.40) Credits 04/30/2009 Paid ) that was revoked and I answered honestly..... DId they pull your credits bc they didn't like our answers???? Even if we gave them honest answers??????? I'm not upset over all and am very glad that we were forewarned, but just very suspicious that they got what they were looking for and now don't want to pay!

That's terrible. They got what they needed from us and then took back the incentive. That should be illegal.

Anyway, I thought I was seeing things at first. I read my SR mail and saw my total at the top of the page as always and then logged into my SR account and the amount was different. I was wondering what was going on. I said, oh well, I'm not even gonna bother Ms. Angie about this one.:rotfl:

It's nice to know that they reversed everyone's and not just a select few like we were cheating! I mean it's no good for any of us but at least it was not something we had done wrong. I lost 2 of the WP offers also!

PS: I have had two reversal's on a home depot order I have been trying to place but they keep having problems on their end even though I have called and confirmed all the information I will keep trying as I really want the fan. Sorry!

Yes, it DOES stink for everyone, but I particulary feel for Tricia and the whole Sunshine gang who go to bat for each and every one of us daily. I think this is just another indication of the bad economy, and the company providing these offers is trying to cut their losses. Unfortunately, this is the way they've chosen. It's not fair and I'm not happy about it, but I'm going to try to focus on the honest companies that have provided all of us with money-making opportunities and go on.

I lost the beer study and didn't get any extra surveys..:cry:
And I placed a $90 order Barnes & Nobles from work yesterday and I'm afraid that won't credit as I have no idea what kind of filters they have working. I only did it as a co-worker needed to spend "the bubget" for the month or it would "go away."

Oh well, I wasn't looking to good for SM at this point anyway.

I had four reversals also - and what makes me mad is that these were surveys asking for a man's point of view, so I had to drag DH to the computer to do some looooong surveys (the beer and sandwich ones were very long) and now they take the money back.

SR crew - thanks so much for keeping us updated! I just logged on and checked my account - looking for a shopping pending credit and saw two reversals. I thought that I had down something wrong so I quickly came to the forums! Although I am not happy about losing money out of my account, I understand that SR lost money and it effects us. I am really glad to hear Miss Angie say that she will be extra cautious about using some of these companies again. Thanks SR for such a great place!
