With all the fraud business and the talk about advertisers tracking you by your ISP, what happens if your ISP changes? I have DSL and occasionally have had to unplug my modem when I'm having a problem. Does this change my ISP and, if so, would that be a problem? (I'm a little technically "challenged")

Thanks!

Unpluging your modem will not changer your ISP, And what advertisers track is your IP, Now usualy when you unplug and plug in your dsl modem your will keep the same IP or address, however it may change. Now the good news is you can do rewards on as many IP's as you would like, the bad is if you get an IP of someone who has already done that reward!

I hope this has helped some!

Good question, I don't know, but look at the odds that would happen, out of all of the possable IP addresses would you get one that has done the same offers you want to now do!

Here for some pice of mind go to whatismyip.com and that will tell you your current ip address number and check it every once in a while and see if it has changed! then you will know if it has changed and if offers stop working once changed mabey you got a bad one and try to get luck and get a new one!

Thank you so much for the info and the link! I'll check it out. I'm just scared that if by some wild, wild chance, I did get an ISP that someone had used on here, I'd get booted and I DEFINITELY don't want that to happen.

Nor would i want that to happen, you should be fine! Some things you can control, others you can't so its best to worry only about what you can do!
And right now I am going to try and do that BigBucksSurvey - Bahamas [ID: 1889] offer
