What made your join SR? Why did you come here? Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? Did you do/currently do other sites as well? Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?

I'm just trying to put a little info together in my head and would appreciate any and all feedback and comments you can possibly give me.

Thanks.

What made your join SR? Why did you come here? I read about SR on the DIS and thought I could earn a little money for Disney.

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? Yes, at first. I was afraid to give any personal info, not so much to SR, but to Greenfield and the advertisers. When I cashed out for my first $25 Disney gift card, I was a believer!

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? no, although I do some surveys through My Survey after signing up through SR.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not? Shop and do surveys. I don't want the e-mails from the offers (even though I have an "offer" e-mail address, and I won't do anything that requires my phone number unless it is a paid trial that I want to do or a product through an offer (I don't do freebies that ask for a phone number).

Hope this is useful info for you! :sunshine2:

1. I did another site and it shut down.
2. There was a discussion on the DIS about SR, and I was DISnaughty and offered to be someone's referral.
3. I didn't think you would be a scam because I already had reward site experience. I really liked when I started how you guys would post on the forum all the time. Not just SR business stuff, but on all the threads. It seemed you really had a good relationship with your members.
4. Yes--I feel I should expand this by saying I only do emails/clicks at other sites.
5. I used to do it all. I have been lazy the last few months. The offers aren't crediting at all for me even though I get bombarded with email and calls so I am stopping with those. Surveys were hit and miss with crediting in Jan. for me so I kind of stopped. I just need to get into the groove again. I shop if I can find a good deal or my DH needs work clothes. I'm, um, cheap:blush: and I enjoy the hunt for the bargain. I find I can do that in the brick and mortar better. Plus I hate paying for shipping.

What made your join SR? Why did you come here? A daughter's friend referred me. I joined to earn money for Disney--I've "earned" more: friends and a great community of people and a wonderful website run by wonderful people.

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? Not really! My daughter's friends gave SR a high rating and recommendation!

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? No. I love SR and thee is no extra time in my schedule for "other sites" :sunshine:

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not? I do ALL. Every penney counts! Sometimes the phone calls from the same vendors are a bit maddening, but I deal with it.

I'm going to be brutally honest (seriously, feel free to smack me)
What made your join SR? Why did you come here? Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, whatconvinced you otherwise? I was very, very leary. I joined the DIS in March 06, and while I heard a lot about SR, I was hesitant. I got burned in an "autosurf" scam about four months prior to that, as well as being left holding the ball when [brandname edited] referral Congas were going around in 05. However, my late May 06, I was a recent college graduate with debt, no job, and looking for a little extra money I started just doing the paid clicks, as at the time I was shopping through [bleep]. I couldn't get a survey, and I was scared of offers.
Then in the fall of 2006, I started reading personal finance blogs. One was posting about the money blogger was making in reward programs, so shortly thereafter I joined blogger's site in October 06. I then decided, once I got the hang of that ptc program, so try to get SM for one quarter on SR purely so that I could get then then-discounted SM rate on Disney gc's starting in April 07. When the other site closed, I became an SR monogamist. And now that my personal finance blog is hosted by MeyerTech, I feel like I've come full circle.
It was almost a year before I made any real money on SR after I joined, which I try to tell newbies.

What made your join SR? Why did you come here? I'm a mod on a unofficial Disney site and someone posted a bunch of sites that that they used to earn money for Disney.

Were you leary and think we could be a scam. Yep, I was very leary at first, but I did join and then spent a lot of time just lurking in the forum and reading what people were saying. I started out by just doing the daily clicks and scratch offs, and then the surverys, etc. etc.

what convinced you otherwise? Honestly, it was the way that you and the other staff seemed to really respond to questions, complaints, and especially the way the other members here were so friendly and didn't hesitate to jump in and help anyone that was new.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? I just don't have the time to spend doing more than one site of this kind.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? I do some of each, although I only do the offers if I have time to spend clicking

I'm just trying to put a little info together in my head and would appreciate any and all feedback and comments you can possibly give me.

What other kind of feedback are you looking for hun ??

What made your join SR? Why did you come here? I'm also one that read about SR on the DIS and thought I could earn a little money for Disney.

Were you leery and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? No not really because of what people where saying on the DIS, either that or I was very naive? I just jumped in with both feet. :D I joined on 2/1/06, the very beginning of SR but I think that when the Forum was introduced, that helped immensely.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? I was doing just clicks on another site but haven't even logged in there in months.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? I do most of it except I don't do the trial type offers.

What made your join SR? Like most others, I read about SR on the DISboards. Decided to check it out, and have been coming almost every day since.
Why did you come here? To earn extra Disney Money, and meet people with similar interests from all over.

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? NOt leary of SR, and didn't really think I had anything to lose.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? Just a few other sites occasionally. Not much time to do many.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?
Rarely do offers as I got too many emails and calls afterwards. I try to do surveys everyday, and shop through SR.

Thanks for such a great site.

I'm just trying to put a little info together in my head and would appreciate any and all feedback and comments you can possibly give me.

What made your join SR? Why did you come here? Read about it on another site and wanted to earn Disney gift cards for an upcoming trip.

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? I was a little leery, but decided to just jump in and try it.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? My experience with SR has been so good that this is the only one I do. I don't want to jeopardize my association with SR by any issues that might occur with overlapping surveys, etc.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? I do all, but may start to do fewer offers. I've been having computer issues and am now just a little wary of all of the popups and having my personal info out there.

What made your join SR? I was on disboards and I wanted to check out what SR was. I don't even know who referred me but I said the first one to send me a link got my referral

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? I didn't know what to expect but am always willing to try something new.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? Yes but only paid emails and mysurveys.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? Surveys have killed me recently. They just don't come around as much for me. I try to do all my shopping online and offers when I have time.

What made your join SR?
-Read about SR on the DIS and how it was a great way to earn some extra Disney money.

Why did you come here?
-Was looking for a way to earn some extra spending money for vacations

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise?
-I wasn?t leary of SR in general, just some of the offers. I think the forums really helped guide me to figure out what offers were non-spammy. Plus I like the fact that the SR crew is so active on the forum it made it feel like a much more friendly atmosphere.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well?
-I do two other sites that are survey only (not Greenfield surveys). I only qualify for a couple a month on those sites.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?
-I do both, probably mostly surveys and then offers. Some shopping I?ll only do through SR like shoes and clothes. But I?m more of a last minute shopper and sometimes I just need to walk around the mall to get ideas for gifts.

What made your join SR?
I too found SR on the Dis Boards.
Why did you come here?
I was mostly curious at first. Then when we were going to Disney I did a few offers and made a little extra cash.
Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? Did you do/currently do other sites as well?
I didn't know what to expect. I didn't do any offers that I would not have done regardless of credit and just checked out what I cvould do.
Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?
I mostly just shop because I don't have time to do the surveys all the time and only do the offers that require shopping bascially. I have tried offers in the past that don't require shopping and I can never get any of them to credit.

What made your join SR?

I read about SR on DIS and decided to check it out.

Why did you come here?

I thought it would be a way to earn a little extra for my vacations.

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise?

No. What I read about SR was positive and I didn't think that I was risking anything.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well?

I participate in E-miles to earn Delta miles.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?

I do surveys and shop. I have done offers, but I don't now. I recently got a new phone number and I don't want all of the telemarketer calls.

What made your join SR? At the time, I was actively looking for something like this, so I could earn a lil extra money. I found a referral to SR on another forum (having to do with babies, etc!) and investigated. I liked what I saw; I looked at the forum and liked the fact that there seemed to be so many happy, satisfied people. I got the idea that even if wouldn't earn a lot, this was an honest place I could at least earn a little.
Why did you come here? hmm, guess that's covered in the above!
Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? Oh, I do have to admit to a bit of skepticism about earning very much, but I didn't think SR would be a scam. There wasn't any fee, and the possibilities of earning seemed fairly straightforward. I liked that SR was upfront about the fact that this wasn't a 'get-rich quick' place. It didn't take me too long to earn enough to order a gift card and when I got it with a couple weeks, I was hooked!
Did you do/currently do other sites as well? I fiddled a bit with one other, but was not impressed, as the setup was so different, impersonal, and it took over two months to earn $10 and then 2 more to get that check! Before then, I had already decided I would concentrate on SR, as it was most reliable and honest. And I loved the family, community feel!
Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?
At first, I did just surveys and offers. After a few months, I started doing more shopping, too, when I got over my leariness of using my cc online!
Now, I am so busy with so much going on that I don't have time to do as many surveys/offers as I did, and I am probly shopping less (partly at DH's request and partly because I want to wait until we're in our new home and settled, so I can get some things for it..) But I try to do something every day, and keep up in the forums, too.

What made your join SR? I saw a thread on the DIS that Tricia posted on. This was I believe in March 2006.

Why did you come here? I wanted to earn some extra money. I liked that a cashout option was the Disney Dollars/Gift cards

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? I was slightly leary. I hadn't ever done anything like this before and wasn't sure about 'free' money for surveys and such. What convinced me was doing offers and such and seeing my account grow quickly. And receiving those first Disney Dollars in the mail REALLY cemented that this was fer-real!

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? I do one other one, that gives you 5 point clicks in emails. I do not shop with this site unless it is an offer not available here.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not? I do it all!!!

I'm just trying to put a little info together in my head and would appreciate any and all feedback and comments you can possibly give me.

Thanks.
What made your join SR?
Read about it on the DIS
Why did you come here?
To make $ for Disney
Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise?
For a long time, I heard about SR and did nothing. I had signed up for some survey only sites, however, and was making a little bit of money on them. My oldest son was going to be doing the Disney College Program, so I decided I really needed to get on SR. I couldn't really figure out what to do -- people said they made all this money reading email and clicking. I was making very little, so I kind of forgot about it until I got in a focus group for new members of another rewards site. One of the questions was what other sites we did, and one of my fellow group members said SR was the best. That group more than anything made me think I could make $ on SR and the other site. Within a few months, though, SR was the site I was concentrating on.
Did you do/currently do other sites as well?
I registered with several other way back when, but now only "do" totally SR. I do 5-point email clicks and shopping only if SR doesn't have the merchant on one other site, but I've yet to cash in there. I also do two paid survey sites, both of which have been SR offers.
Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?
I do it all. There are a few categories of freebie offers I don't do b/c they generate massive numbers of phone calls.

What made your join SR?I was referred by my sister.

Why did you come here? I knew that my sister was making money here so I thought I'd give it a try.

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? I was not leary because I trust my sister, but I never really thought I could earn the kind of money I have. I started out slow just doing clicks and a few surveys (I really love doing surveys) and when I saw my balance going up it encouraged me to do more and more. It took me about 2 months to really get the hang of everything.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? No, only SR.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?
I do it all, but mainly surveys, some shopping and offers when I have time.

What made your join SR?
Read about it on the Disboards and got a referral.
Why did you come here?
To earn money for Disney
Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise?
I was leary at first - I joined in October 2006 and wasn't sure what SR was all about and how to make $$ - concerned that I would get ripped off but after a while I got over it and started earning a tone of $$. Everything I have earned has gone towards Disney. I think what got me over my learyness (is that a word???) was that the top three contest started and I really wanted to make it - the first month I was #4 and so disappointed!! But I really liked it when there were the discounts for Disney GC!
Did you do/currently do other sites as well?
I do one other site that I only click on the 5 point emails. I have only redeemed there once and have probably $100 worth of GC's to redeem but don't know which to get because they DON'T DO DISNEY GC's!!!!!! And I do 2 survey sites that were both on SR!
Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not? I do it all!!!!!

What made your join SR? Shelly (3kid2dogmom) when she heard I was finally booking a trip to WDW she convinced me to give it a try.
Why did you come here? same as above once we finally booked I wanted to earn money for WDW, my goal was $50 and I ended up taking $350 in disney GC's with me. BUt I've also gained SO MUCH more besides rewards. I never expected to find such a good community of people who I can call friends.

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? The first time Shelly sent me a link and tried to get me to sign up (about a year before I actually did) I couldn't be bothered. At the time no WDW trip in site and it was made to sound like that you would be earning towards WDW. Had a known about Target and other stores at the time I "may" have tried sooner. When I gave it a try the 2nd time she sent me the link I figured to check it out, knowing Shelly as well as I do I figured if she's stuck with it this long it must be legit.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? Believe it or not the bargain shopper, look for a deal person that I am, never really knew these type of sites existed. Also having gone to college for programming and being on the internet for 10+ years I never really bothered to look but am very comfortable with doing different activities on the computer.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?
All the above, just depends on time. I always check SR first for shopping on most items. I do offers if it interests me, some are hit or miss and for a year and a half I've been able to manage about 28 on average DS a month, and probably 20 SM's and 15 OTX's give or take. So yes survey's are a big deal for me.

What made your join SR?
Saw it mentioned on the Disboards.

Why did you come here?
I am desperately wanting to make a DisneyWorld trip and since I am a SAHM right now, this is my way of contributing to the cost.

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise?
I am not leary of SR, but I don't know sometimes about the advertisers-I've seen a few horror stories about misc. unauthorized charges, so I try to be extra cautious with my info. I really do trust SR though and have already seen you guys pull off some of the "questionables." I like the "personal" touch here with the forum and know I'll be able to get help if I need it.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well?
Yes. I'm a B**Agent, so I am automatically enrolled in MyP******. I don't ever do the offers through ******** though, I only click through for the points. I also signed up with InBox$$ for the paid e-mails since I saw it on the BzzAgent Frogpond, but it doesn't have the best reputation, so I don't know if I'll stick with it. I'm also a member of 2 other sites that were mentioned on the Disboards-one I really like (it often has better payouts on offers/surveys than SR *sorry to say*) and one that I don't do much with.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?
I do a little bit of everything, but I *hate* doing the offers sometimes. I do not enjoy giving out personal information when the offers do not credit. This is one of the main reasons I would be hesitant to try and refer new members. I can handle junk mail and spam, but the phone calls bug the crap out of me-especially when I KNOW the caller is from one of those offers that didn't credit:(. I also avoid offers that include a "trial period" , because I know I will forget to cancel and get charged and I just don't want the hassle. I can handle doing the surveys, although they are sometimes frusterating and can take too much time. I LOVE getting cashback for shopping-since I'm doing it already anyways, might as well get rewarded.

What made your join SR? I saw it on DIS and thought if I could earn me some Disney money, it had to be all good!

Why did you come here? To feed my Disney habit:blush:

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? No, not really. I saw others that were trusting SR and earning Disney money so I believed it was a good thing too.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? I have joined one other site since joining SR, but it's just not as good. I don't do any surveys on there so that I don't deplete my number available on SR (Cause SR is my first love--well, after Mickey!) All I do there is the clicks.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? I shop and do surveys and clicks. I try to do the offers but they don't credit very well for me.

If you don't do all, why not? I sign up for emails and offers, get the emails by the thousands and the newsletters, but can't seem to get credits very often so I get very discouraged. I want to do the offers to earn more if I can ever figure out what I need to do to get credits!! (More money for Mickey. :mickey:)

What made your join SR? Why did you come here? Like others I heard about SR on the DISboards. I asked Tricia to be part of our WPASADI game because she seemed nice. Maybe that made me trust her. I was anxious to earn extra money toward Disney. Although I do love earning extra $, I really love the comeraderie found here. I really enjoy the forums!

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? Yes, I was a lille leery, but DH was more so. But, I had already started another (bigM) site, so I just jumped in. I do think I was a ltiile naieve at first!

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not? I have done a couple of other sites, but not stuck with them. I only do 1 other now, and it's just for the paid clicks that do add up over time. It's not half the fun there! I shop through SR whenever I can. I comparison shop online and in the stores to get the best prices though. I try surveys on days when I have time, so that varies, but I do them whenever I can. I go through phases with them though, as I get quite frustrated at times and occcasionally take a break from them. I don't do many offers anymore, unless they are from a company that I know or it is something I really want. Most "freebie" offers don't credit for me anyway, and they are such a hassle, that I only do them if I have extra time or if I am in the mood.

I'm just trying to put a little info together in my head and would appreciate any and all feedback and comments you can possibly give me.

Thanks.
What made your join SR? To try to bring in some extra cash.

Why did you come here? Disney

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? Always leary, but as long as it is not costing money, give it a try.

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? Yes, a couple of other sites

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? I do surveys, will shop only when I have a need.

If you don't do all, why not? Trying to save money, will not spend unnecessary, most spending is for food and bills that I can not do online.

What made your join SR?
Saw it mentioned on the DIS Boards. Been doing other click sites (clicks only didn't know about surveys, and didn't trust offers), and thought SR would be nice to add to the list of sites I did.

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? I knew I needed to check it out. I had a few sites close on me...and a few not pay me... so I was leary. At first I only did clicks (didn't trust offers, didn't know about surveys), so I didn't have much to lose... so it was worth a try. I saw a positive review on a blog that talks about reward sites, which helped... but I really became a SR believer when the forum was started and could see the fast reply of the owner (Tricia).

Did you do/currently do other sites as well?
I had a list of sites that I did when I started SR. When I started I only did clicks, but the SR forum taught me about surveys and offers. After reading about other people's tracking systems and confusion on keeping things straight between sites and not repeating, I decided to only do clicks on two other sites (got rid of a couple of sites), and keep my offers, and shopping on SR only, because I trusted in Tricia to keep SR honest and around for a long time.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?
When I started I didn't know about anything but clicks... I thought I was doing good to earn $20 a year for a restaurant or disney card. The SR forum people taught me so much!!! I do it all now... surveys, offers, clicks, shopping. but I started out just as a daily clicker because I didn't know any better.

What made your join SR?
Believe it or not, I was at my DD's house and watched her do a survey. I asked her about it and, since it was legit per her, I signed up as her referral. I've never looked back!
Why did you come here?
Again, it was because of my DD.
Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise?
No, because my DD told me it was totally legit.
Did you do/currently do other sites as well?
Yes, I do **survey and ****cone. However, their surveys are much more sporadic, not daily like SR, so I don't accumulate many rewards. Also, if I get a survey similar to one I've got here, I just don't do it. That rarely occurs.
Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all?
I do it all! I try to do at least one survey a day, but if I have time, I try all three. I also try paid offers whenever I have time (I also work full time, so that limits my free time.) I already did a fair amount of online shopping prior to joining SR. Now, I try to always go through SR first.

Just as an extra note, today I paid my portion of a Disney cruise in full, using only Disney Giftcards earned on SR. How cool is that? :cooldance::cooldance:

What made your join SR? Thru DIS......not sure who I signed up under, but glad that I did (hey how do we find that out?)

Why did you come here? I was planning my first trip with my girls to WDW and being a newly divorced parent I wanted to earn some extra money

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? Not sure that I was leary.....just wasn't sure how it all worked and had to find my way around the site. Played around with it for a while and once I earned my first $25 I was thrilled. Then the forum came along and once I joined that I really noticed a jump in my account...it took a bit to get to the first $100, but once I got to that 'magic' number it keeps growing

Did you do/currently do other sites as well? I use to do a few others (just click thru type things) but now I only do SR. Hey it works for me and I am very happy with SR, it is more than just a shopping/survey site to me.:)

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?
I shop, do surveys (I can't believe I didn't do the surveys when I first joined the site) and occasionally I will do offers. They don't tend to credit for me (even though I have a seperate email for them and do all the things you are suppose to do to help them credit), so I concentrate more on surveys

What made your join SR? Why did you come here? Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? Did you do/currently do other sites as well? Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?

I found you through the dis. At first I thought it was a massive scam. But then I kept seeing people mentioning it. Then I noticed that people I trusted on the Dis were stating that they had earned money, gotten giftcards, and bought stuff at WDW and DLR with those cards. Since I trusted them on the Dis, I felt that I could trust them about Sunshine.

So I started, and I did little bits here and there. Thought I'd never earn much. Did Blockbuster and it didn't credit, but then I put in a TT and you guys worked some serious magic and I got the credit. That brought me to $25, and suddenly everything felt different.

Cashed out (not sure if it was just that 25 or if it was later), and I'll admit I called to check on the amount of the giftcard, and once I checked, I was a believer.

Those first cards paid for our first APs at Disneyland.

I used to do more...I got really burned out on surveys, again, and I haven't tried this month b/c it feels like too much. I don't know why. Offers are kinda the same way right now. But those are both just lulls. I shop when I can, when it's a better deal overall, and when I can find what I want. I love shopping online, it's just that recently deals in b&m stores have been better. I tell you, I don't like that! :rotfl: I figure that's a lull too.

I do one other site, a really big one, but that's mainly just for the little "look at the site" clicks, and things that you simply don't have. I tried a 3rd site but it was incomprehensible to me and I actually quit and closed my account b/c I just didn't get it, and you had most of the same stuff. :) You guys are my absolute main site.

I found ya'll on the Dis. I had just started planning another trip to Disney and was reading the board. Over the years, I had done pretty well making extra money online, so I headed over to the Reward board. I knew I couldn't make as much money as I used to but every little counts so I decided to give ya'll a try. Very happy I did. I had around an extra $1000 to take on our last trip.

Since the trip is past and we won't be going until Spring Break '10, I haven't had the urge to push as hard to earn. I used to do surveys, regularly, but have a harder time getting one so I am very sporadic in trying. I take spells where I do offers and spells where I don't. Depends upon how busy my life is. And, how lucky I am at getting them to credit. Kind of like dieting, when I am losing , it spurs me on to keep dieting, when I am not, well that doughnut sure looks good. :D Main thing that pushes me, these days, is the desire to keep SM. But, really need to get back to work, only 11 months until next trip.

I shop, here, after doing some window shopping to see where I will do best. I always buy my ink thru SR. I need to see if we need some before increase is over.

However, my very best main reason for staying with SR, is the friendship. The money is just whip cream and a cherry on top. And, hot fudge. Maybe I need to get back on the diet.

1. What made me join SR? I saw SR mentioned on the disboards for quite some time but I thought it was a scam until people kept mentioning it over the course of about two years, I think. I decided to join because I had a WDW trip planned in February 2009 and I wanted to see if I actually could earn some extra cash (because I'm a poor grad student and wanted to be able to treat myself to a mickey bar!)

2. Was I leary and did I think it could be a scam? I was incredibly leary about joining. The idea that I could earn money by clicking on the web sounds too good to be true and we all know the old platitude about things that sound too good to be true... ;) I spent a good bit of time doing some research about SR and browsing the forums before joining.

3. Am I a member of other sites? I am a member of a site where I click emails for five points a pop. I only joined that site because a word-of-mouth marketing site I belong to switched it's reward system to that site. I have joined another reward site that is linked to my frequent flier program. I only do surveys and clicks there and only earn air miles. I will occasionally shop through my frequent flier program if I can't find incentive to shop elsewhere.

4. How do I participate on SR? I mostly do surveys. I was amazed at how quickly the surveys added up and according to my account history, surveys are responsible for the bulk of my earnings. In fact, I think that when my weekend DS credit tomorrow (Monday) I will have hit SM status!

I try to do offers but I have a heck of a time getting them to credit. I did the math once and figured out I have less then a 30% offer crediting rate. I have the most luck when crazy credits are happening. I'm not sure why this is; I clear my cookies, I go slowly through the whole thing, I wait for the confirmation emails, I've tried new email addresses, I only do one or two offers a day, etc.

I only shop for things I was planning on buying anyway. I try not to talk myself into buying something because the payout is good. I'm a dirt-poor graduate student-- I save more by not buying, period. However, SR has introduced me to some new sites for things I already buy which have better prices and more cash back than my previous shopping sites.

SR is a nice break for me when I'm tired of studying and work. I work full time and go to school full time. Sometimes it is just good to veg out and click through an offer or take a quick survey to give my head a break. And this break earns me money rather than causing me to spend it by going out for a break!

What made your join SR? Why did you come here? I wanted to see what April (askomsky) was 'fussing' all about :rotfl: She asked me one day, "Well you're on SR right?" I said, "No, what's SR?!" Been hooked ever since

Were you leary and think we could be a scam, and if so, what convinced you otherwise? At first I wasn't sure how it worked with how fast you can earn $$ but it came in faster than anywhere else; and then when I got the Pay Pal money the first time; I wasn't worried!
Did you do/currently do other sites as well?I still receive e-mails from one other site; they are mainly an e-mail earning site; at least for me that is all they are; but most of the time I don't even do the e-mail clicks. I have went onto one other site; and that was due to the good deal and you didn't have the offer; I did ask if you could get it; but they company wouldn't let you have the deal; so I went through them.

Do you just shop or do surveys or offers or all? If you don't do all, why not?I shop and do surveys. I usually do not do the "free" offers because they are repetitive and many times I get pulled away from finishing them that I don't finish it; so it really turns out to be a waste of my time.
