OTX issues?

I don't belong to any other site where I would take an OTX survey and I've been getting an error message for the past week on there saying "I'm sorry but you've reached the maximum number of surveys, please come back tomorrow......." but I get this message after I've not qualified for one.

I've never had a problem like this with OTX before. I'm not doing anything different from what I usually do.:confused:

So that I understand you haven't been able to take any OTX surveys at all over this time period? OR Have you been attempting and then after a few tries it goes to that message?

Are you clearing your cookies? If you have been then there may be an issue with your email being "stuck" (for lack of a better word) can you just change your email and use a different email from now on with your same demographics? They don't like you changing emails a lot but when there are problems it would be ok to switch to a different one as long as you are swapping back and forth. Clear cookies and use a different email and let me know if it works.

I've received the same message. I noticed it if I try to get a survey soon after being denied.

A few other people have reported this message off and on. Try doing a quick search in the forums for OTX and error message and see if you can find the threads on it. If not I think Marcymajor was one of the ones this happened to so she might see this thread and help or I'm sure you could pm her for help. If I can think of anyone else this happened to I'll post them too. I've never seen this message so I wouldn't know where to begin other than suggesting you run the cookie and spybot/adware programs to try and clean out the cookie that seems to be stuck.

I can get in to try for a survey and sometimes it redirects me and tells me I didn't qualify, try for another survey and sometimes it just goes right to that I've already taken one today.

I will try using a different e-mail with my same demographics and see if that works. Thanks for your help everyone!:love:

Well, I just tried it with a different e-mail and it started out good, then I got an internet connection error and then:

Now that I think of it, maybe I've been getting the error regularly this week and that's why I can't take a survey. I'm not sure what to do but I'll have to check again tomorrow and see if it shows up. Nothing has changed with my internet or computer.

A lot of times you will get this message if you start out taking an OTX and get kicked out or get disconnected. I don't think there is anything else you can do. Keep trying each day. Now that you have changed email addresses you will need to stick with the new one. Try going really slow through the survey and letting each page load completely before chosing an answer or hitting submit. This will help keep it from getting hung up and kicking you out.

Do you try for an OTX survey once a day or more often? This happens to me every so often. If I know it's been more than 24 hours since my last OTX survey and the come back soon page pops up, I just try again an hour or 2 later. Most times, I'll be able to get a survey eventually.

i just did an entire otx survey and instead of going to the amp and eversave pages i got this:

You can try again.
It's like getting kicked out in the beginning.
Unfortunately you cannot report these and Sunshines cannot get the credit for you.

The last couple of weeks, I've been trying to do OTX survey's, and I feel like it is Ground Hog day, survey's never finish, and a survey will start all over without me even trying. I've given up on OTX's for awhile. They are too darn frustrating.

i just tried again and instead of getting the message that i had exceeded my limit for the day i got the message that there are no surveys available. oh well, guess i can try again in a little while and maybe i'll get lucky. do understand your frustration but don't give up completely. :thanks: for answering and have a great day.:sunshine:

i have a question. has anyone noticed on otx lately (like today) that when you start one of their surveys it asks for your name? i get to the beginning where it asks that question and then it boots me out. how can it boot me out after just putting in my name?:confused: oh well, not complaining as have done ok with otx this month so far and if i don't get one today i can always try again tomorrow. hope everyone has good luck getting one today and maybe someone out there could sprinkle some survey fairy dust on me that maybe i can get one too. have a great day all.:sunshine:

otx is still asking for my name and then booting me out. guess it doesn't like me anymore or something. oh well, you win some, you lose some. will try again later and maybe otx will like me then.:rotfl: i know i am not allowed to vent but i just want to say that right now i am not very happy with otx surveys. have been trying for many hours today to get one and i just keep getting booted out everyone i get into or it cycles around to the drinking question. maybe i am just burned out on otx surveys or they are tired of me. who knows, maybe it will get better in the future (one can only hope). if you want to delete this post feel free but i just had to get this off my chest in as nice a way as possible as i am a tad frustrated right now. i got one i finally got one and it just credited. i am so very happy right now i am smiling and excited. this really has made my day a whole lot brighter and sunnier.

I tried to take one this morning, and it kept telling me I had to wait a certain amount of time before taking another one, so I guess it did register that I completed one yesterday. I finally just qualified for one today, but it took me to another site and wanted me to log in with a study number and other info. I went back and tried to get another one, and it gave me the following message and takes me to amp surveys.

When that happens to me, I just clear cookies, wait until the next hour, and usually don't get that message again. Of course, that doesn't always mean I qualify! :rolleyes:

i just got hosed by otx. my ds just tried to do a survey and it asked for his age and he put in how old he was and a page came up that said he was dishonest with his answer. they're back to the age problem again where i guess you have to add a year to your age as this is 2009 (his birthday isn't until august). just tried to do another one and it said i have already reached my limit for the day and to come back tomorrow. should i wait an hour and try again or am i sol for the day.:confused: HELP!!! someone please answer this. :thanks:

i think otx hates my ds. he was able to get into another one an hour later but he keeps getting booted out of everyone he starts. oh well, guess it just wasn't meant for him to get his otx for the day or for me to get all 3. so far this weekend i am 4 for 6 (2 ds, 1 sm and 1 otx). if anyone has any ideas or suggestions about otx i am all ears (and eyes).:rotfl:
