I just completed this offer taoday at lunch. I checked my CC online and noticed 3 1.00 charges for the 30 photos which ere suppose to be free. The e-mail order confirmationlist 3 1.00 charges andthten a credit for 3.00 as well. The 2.41 for shipping charge is there also.
It could be that later they will credit the account the 3.00. If not I have my e-mail confirmation showing the 3.00 credit and I will print and copy this and dispute the charges. :( Hey I know it is only 3.00 but the ethics of it stink.

It could be authorization charges that they realized they had done and marked that on your confirmation but they will fall off on the actual card? I dont remember having this issue.

I got 31 prints for 2.50 total, Never any other charges. I would bet since they are 1.00 charges they will just fall off!

that we authorize for a $1 (just like the gas stations do when you fill them up_ they eventually fall off depends on the CC company with in 6-10 business days or when they charge you for the correct amount. We deal with larger numbers (office furniture) but we don't want to charge the customer until their item actual ships, hence the authorization.
I just ordered from them and got 30 prints free and had to pay $12 for the other 75 I ordered and shipping. So I ended up with 105 prints for the $12.15.

Are we supposed to actually order the prints to get credit or is just signing up good enough?

You have to order beyond the free prints to get credit. So if it is 20 free prints you need to order over the 20 to get your credit. Hope that helps!

So have you all received your prints yet? I'm just wondering how the quality is. :)

How fast did you get the York Photo $6 credit? I signed up last night and ordered 30 prints. I haven't received my credit yet and didn't know how long it took to receive it.

I did it last night and the credit was there before I went to bed! But did you order more then the 30 free ones? I think that was part of the deal, you had to order more then the 30 free that they gave you.

that they're finished processing and will be shipped. I'll let you know when I get them.
I usually order mine from kodak or dotphoto, they both do a great job, just different features. I like kodak bc I always order a calendar, but dotphoto is a fuji company and I think their prints are just much better quality and their the same price sometimes cheaper then kodak. I also like dotphoto bc they print the name of the picture on the back, which is great for me since i rename all the pictures to the kids age/location etc.

Maybe we should ask Tricia for a dot photo offer... Oh TRICIA!!! :rotfl:
To answer the OP, my York credits came in the next day or two, but as I understood it you had to order beyond the free prints. I think I ordered 50 or so.

I've tried all the others and really since it's a fuji company no one else can come close to the quality prints! :)
Yeah I ordered 105 total, so it was no big deal to order more then the 30 free ones.

I think I would die, although I'm somewhere inbetween you both, I always wait until I get 1000 or so pictures and order them all at once. Hoping a good deal comes along!

Thanks, April! :) I'll keep an eye out for your post.
I've never used dotphoto .... if Tricia can work something out with them, I'd love to give them a try! I'm a big fan of Fuji processing, too.

I am expecting to be in the low to mid 20,000's for photos after this trip!
I have 40GB's of free space on my laptop! and i just bought a new 2gb card so that mean i hae 2gb x2 and 1GB and my mom is bringing her 2gb x2 cards so if we fill them all in a day (I hope not) thats 7gb a day and 15 days so and we get about 1000 photos per GB! umm I am going to need alot of free photos.............
Wonder if ordering the photo cd counts as ordering more than just the free prints? Has anyone else done (ordered the 30 free prints and then the photo cd too) this and gotten credit?

I didn't do that, but I ordered only four prints over the free ones, and got credit.
