Question for Tricia about Facebook

I bumped up another thread about this but wanted to make sure you saw it. Is there a way to put a referral link on our facebook pages? When I searched on facebook, an app came up but I couldn't get it to work. :confused: I would love to use my facebook page as a referral tool!

Yes you can. Look at my page on there. But I don't remember how it is under a custom app on there. It is under my stuff under applications and you have to search gigya to add it.

Step 1: Download “My Stuff” application to your Facebook profile
Go to your Facebook profile. If you don’t already have the “My Stuff” application loaded,
you’ll need to do that first. Use the search function and enter “gigya” (these are the
makers of the “My Stuff” application).






When the results are displayed, click on the Applications tab. Locate the “My Stuff”
application in the list of results, and click on the link.

Next you’ll see an overview of the application and what it can do. Click the Add to Page
button from the right side navigation.


On the next screen, click the Add My Stuff button.

Copy the code that appears in the text box. [Hint: to ensure you’ve got all of it, click
anywhere in the text box and hit the Ctrl and A keys at the same time, to select all.]

Step 3: Paste snippet code into the My Stuff application on your Facebook page
Go back to your Facebook page. From your profile page, click on Applications, which is
directly below the search function at the top left corner of the screen.

Find the link to My Stuff (either from the left navigatiarea) and click on the link to open the application.

The first time you go to My Stuff you should see something like this:


In the Add Code box, paste the snippet of code you copied from your referral, and click the Add to profile button.

I cant find the my stuff app.

What I did to add a link to my page, is that I wrote a little SR blurb in the box under my profile pic and included my referral link. It is not hilighted in a different color or anything, but it does work. Then when something is going on here at SR, I can refer people to the SR link under my profile picture.

ok, i think i need gigya for dummies...i got a mystuff tab on my profile, but how do i add SR to it?
