American Girl Dolls on QVC

Last year this was HUGELY popular with our members! The American Girl Dolls are going to be on QVC this Sunday. It actually looks like it starts at midnight Eastern this Saturday, so you may be able to get some of the dolls starting late on Saturday.

Those of you who made purchases last year, what kind of things did you find?

There is supposed to be a TSV at 12:00 midnight ET (everything is such a big secret at QVC, LOL) and it is ITEM #T29600 CRISSA DOLL AND 2 OUTFITS. No price yet but if you want it, you should be on the phone or your computer right at midnight because it will sell out quick! :D

I got Kitt and Mia last year. The sets are so good compared to the ones you can get from AG direct. I was hoping it might be Julie this year since she has a movie coming out. Callie really wanted her last year but I couldn't justify passing up a set with Kitt for Julie all alone.

I bought Chrissa, Emma still only has Kitt but she is really getting into them, so she'll enjoy any that she gets. Her bday is in Sept so I have the majority of her taking care of. :)

Sheesh I had a tough morning. I shouldn't shop when I am sleepy. I think I might have totally screwed up. I woke up and it popped in my head that this was going on so I jumped online. I made my purchase and since I wasn't up I chose easy payments I think it was 2 for 1 and 3 for the other just because it meant I could spread the payments out. Then I chose Bill Me Later because I didn't have my card or purse with me. Then I realized I had AOL open because I checked my BML account first. Sheesh it will be a miracle if this order credits for me. Angie if you see my order let me know LOL put my mind to rest. Should be $8.00 or so LOL. Shouldn't shop when I first wake up.

Are you saying the 2 payment option might throw the credit off? I ask bc I wasnt' paying attention (I did pay with my CC though) when I checked out and realized AFTER I confirmed that it was going to be in 2 "installments" which I didn't think about until later.

I don't know. I have never chosen that option before. I just think that the combination of AOL being open, using the payment options and then using BML to make those payments I won't have much luck of that credit coming through automatically LOL.

I've purchased on easy pay through SSR in the past and haven't had a problem getting it to credit.

I also bought Chrissa for my "little girl" who happens to be 23 yo :rotfl: She absolutely loves them :D

Should I be seeing the credit now, even if something is not shipping til 8/27? Or will the credit not show up until the item is shipped? I ordered the Bitty Twins, but by the time I got onto the computer, it was on backorder already.

I'm still waiting for mine - But, I don't know if that's because mine isn't shipping til end of August. I don't know if the credit will show up after it's shipped & charged to my cc, or if I should be seeing it now.

I had mine pending within 24 hours, HOWEVER, iI also got my notice of the item being shipped that same day. Many of the offers don't pend until it is shipped, so I wouldn't be too surprised it that happens with yours, too. HTH.

Oh yeah didn't think of that, mine was also shipped immediately and actually came on Wednesday. So I'm sure that's why my credit was pending right away.

Mine has already shipped and I should be receiving it either monday or tuesday. I'll just wait until my 14 days and put in a TT. I have like 4 shopping things that haven't showed up as pending. I'll just be patient...thanks everyone.
