Question for the Indy girls!!

I didn't know where else to put this!

I am heading to Indy this weekend for a cake seminar. Staying at the Crown Plaza by teh airport on High School Rd. I also have tickets to Kenny Chesney at Lucas Oil Saturday night. I'm going alone. the concert starts at 4pm, but my meeting is until 6pm, so i'm gonna be late. I'm thinking it would be better to take a Taxi, as i don't want to waste more time trying to park after the concert has already started.

Good idea?? is it really far? Are taxi's pretty safe in Indy? I can tell you, there are NO taxi's up in South Bend! None that i'd want to ride in anyway!

It's been forever since I've been in an Indy taxi. I found a site that has links to all of the taxi services so that you can compare. Parking downtown isn't terrible, but since you'll be running late and alone you might want to consider drop off and pick up at the door!

Pretty much everything is safe in Indy. I've never had to take a taxi here because I have SunshineGuy (LOL!) But it's only going to be a few miles (too long to walk but not expensive to cab it).
