Does lawn equipment count? If I bought say, a riding lawn mower through the SR sears link, do i get cash back? I don't see anything that says it's excluded, but I thought I'd ask. TIA! :sunshine2:

We bought a lawnmower (push, not riding) from Sears back in May or so & got credit. I also once made a purchase that included garden shears & I can't remember what else & got credit for that as well. Both times I ordered online & picked up at the store.

thanks :) i'm hoping to pick mine up at the store too-can't imagine what the shipping charges would be on something so big!

ETA: rats! no site-to-store shipping, and shipping was over $200! looks like i'll be waiting....

I buy things at Sears and just pick it up locally. Is yours not available for local pickup because they only sell it online?

that seems to be the case, tricia. this item (a chipper) isn't available in the store, only online. it didn't provide an option to change to site-to-store shipping, so i can only assume it's not available :( poor DH, he was so excited.

Looks like Sears is in the category of giving credit for gift certificate purchases...I wonder if a suitable mower is actually there at your Sears, just not viewable online...then you could order a proper GC, then go to the store...
