We'll be there Jan 3-9, but not for the Marathon. We just like that week!

we are going because of the marathon. i signed my hubby up just so i could use that as an excuse to go. so now he thinks i am willing to kill him just so i can go to disney world. :rotfl:

We'll be there 1/2 - 1/8 Boardwalk, then Treehouses for 3 days and then back to the Boardwalk for 4 nights.

I went the marathon week this year and I had an amazing time. The crowds were non existent. The weather was amazing. I would go that time again in a heartbeat.

The first week in Jan, after New Years, is an awesome time to go.

The first few days are still "Christmas" in the World. Then things gradually (magically) change back to normal during the week. You get to experience the best of both worlds - all with very low crowds and awesome weather.

I'm psyched. I had made an ADR at Tony's Town Square for "Marathon Eve" and all they had was 5:30 - I wanted a little later so we could possibly eat on the patio and watch Spectromagic. I called back and there must have been some cancellations - I was able to move it to 6:30 and the parade starts at 7. Works out great.

What's everyone else doing for their "carbo-load?"

i just did the online adr and got tony's for 625. we'll have to try to meet up.

We'll be there 1/08-1/15 at BWV! Tony's sounds like a good idea to watch Spectromagic. Maybe I'll have to make ADS's there too! :)
