i just went on their website and found a couple of really nice looking jackets i might want to buy. have a couple of questions b4 i decide. do their jackets run true to size or are they bigger or smaller than they appear to be? what kind of quality are their jackets - will they last a long time? the one i was looking at was: Moosejaw Women's Rachel Jansen Softshell Jacket #642028
and it was under $40 with free shipping. i live in georgia so it doesn't get real cold in the winter so i really don't need an extra heavy coat or jacket. my only concern about buying clothes online is that if it doesn't fit what kind of return policy do they have and is it a hassle to return something. got burned last year from a merchant who advertised one size and when i got the jeans it was not the correct size at all (was suppose to be a 4 and it was a 3/4 and it would not go past my hips so i gave them away). any info someone can give me about this merchant would be greatly appreciated. :thanks:

I found that Moosejaw womens apparel runs pretty true to size, but it also can be fitted.

I've ordered with moosejaw for a few years now, and they have EXCELLENT customer service. You can email them for more speficics on the fit. Also check out the customer reviews-- many are saying it is true to size or a bit small.

I've never had to return anything, but based on past experience, I would expect it to be a pretty easy process. Here is a link to their return policy Click here for return policy (http://www.moosejaw.com/moosejaw/shop/content_returns_10208__-1)

I just looked that jacket up and that is a great deal! Wow, I might have to add it to my order!

Hope that helps! :sunshine:

I've always used a debit or credit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo with no problem. It looks like they also take AmEx and Discover.

I'm having trouble with the coupon code listed for regular priced merchandise not working.

The item I am ordering is not on sale so I should be able to use the coupon. Because the item is over $49 I would get free shipping. The 10% is more than the shipping so I would rather have that but there is no choice to pick one or the other.

I get this error message when I enter the coupon.

Coupon Codes can't be combined with other offers.

I emailed Customer Service.

I just posted this same thing, didn't see your post....I was trying to get the 10% off code to apply too with no success either.

yes, put two regular priced items in my cart which totaled over $49 to qualify for free shipping but the code says you can't combine more than one when I tried to apply it.

I received a reply to my email.

Hey Kathie, Thanks for the email. I apologize for the confusion, but the coupon code CJ10 does have exclusions. The excluded brands are: North Face, Patagonia, Arc'teryx, Merrell, Nixon, Scarpa, Sea to Summit, Suunto, Western Mountaineering, and Yakima. These can be found under #21 in our Terms and Conditions. The coupon code CJ10 is also only valid for 10% off already on-sale items. Free economy shipping will work on all orders over $49, even if a coupon code is used (shipping within the contiguous United States).

What I wanted to buy was a North Face Jacket so that explains it for me. But what I made BOLD is different than what Cindy was given in her email.

Guess I'll wait until tomorrow.

Being that it has to be sale items explains why it didn't work for me either! Darn, I wonder if we can get another coupon that works on regular priced items? Thanks for posting ~Kathie. :D

You're welcome Pam. Most merchants do have brands that are excluded from any coupons. The shoe merchants do it all the time. The brands won't let them discount their product. I'm not surprised about the North Face but that 10% discount was a big draw. I'll have to think about it.

Explanation from Affiliate Manager, so hopefully this will help you all:

there are ZERO brand exclusions on CJ10. CJ10 is only for items already on sale though. So if your visitors try to purchase something that is not already on sale, it will not work. However, if they try to apply for the 10% off coupon code on a jacket that is already marked off, it should work when they try to apply it. The only coupon code that has brand exclusions (the ones listed by the customer service rep) is CJ15. This is for 15% off all regularly priced merchandise (items not already on sale) and does have those brand exclusions.

Here’s the other rub – during the Anniversary Sale, both CJ10 and CJ15 ARE NOT VALID for items that are part of THIS PARTICULAR sale. However, these codes are valid on items that are not included in the Anniversary sale. For example, I entered in my checkout cart to check this The North Face Women’s Denali Jacket (currently on sale but not part of the Anniversary Sale) and was able to use the CJ10 code. When I entered the Moosejaw Danny Zucko sweatshirt (on sale as part of the Anniversary Sale) the code DID NOT work. Also, I entered into my checkout cart a regularly priced item from Marmot (a brand that is not part of the brand exclusions on the CJ15 code). As a regularly priced item of course it is also not part of the Anniversary sale. I was able to apply the 15% off code there as CJ15. If you have a sale price item and a regularly price item in your cart, and you try to apply BOTH Codes you will only be able to apply one (you can’t combine coupon codes).

Big thanks to you...the CJ15 works for me, even better than the CJ10! I'll be placing my order after the top of the hour when I can clear cookies after doing my last crazy credits offer! :woohoo:

What was the price of the Woman's Northface Denali jacket that you put in your cart? Mine was the hooded jacket and $179 , only one color and size was on sale for $129. I couldn't get the CJ10 code to work. I also tried the unhooded jacket and no worky either.
