View Full Version : Is there a Greenfield issue?

Since very early this morning I have been trying to get a DS. The pages where you click options, then once you click, then the next page and so on are loading so slowly that they are timing out. At first I thought it might be my home connection, but the same thing has been happening all day at work and I just can't get in. Is this happening to anyone else or does anyone know if GF is having any difficulties? Everything else is loading fine. Thanks for any help!

When I finally got the options page and clicked to take a survey, I got a message that Greenfield is experiencing technical difficulties. I have been trying for a few hours now with no luck.

Oh, I forgot to say that whatever was the problem seems to have been resolved. I just finished my DS for today, so hopefully it was just a temporary glitch!

is there a problem with greenfield? i tried to do a DS and it takes forever to load the demographic page. when it finally loaded, i put in my info and clicked start and it said "we're having an issue, please check back later".

I just finished a Brain Juicer survey for Greenfield. So no problems for me.

still won't work for me. getting the same message:
"We apologize for your inconvenience. We are having some technical difficulties. Please check back later." and i don't know if this matters, but each time i try to take a survey, it makes me re-enter my demographic information (it usually doesn't).

why won't it let me in? someone help! i scanned my computer last night, as i do every night, and cleared cookies. i also cleared cookies this morning. this is a daily ritual for me and i usually have no problem with surveys. i do recall this happening once before, a few months ago-some people could get in and some couldn't. i'm on track for a survey bonus this month and don't want to lose it :(
ETA: for those who can't get in - i've been using firefox (always do) and i clicked on tools, clear recent history, checked the boxes next to cache and cookies, then chose "everything" in the box at the top. now i can get in to take surveys. not sure why, since i've used CCleaner twice since yesterday morning's DS, but it works now.

I tried getting a DS today using Firefox too and it wouldn't load the demographics page. Switched over to IE and got a survey on the first try! :cooldance: Must have something to do with Firefox.

Greenfield is just hanging. Once you type in your personal information and hit enter it just hangs there and will not go anywhere! I wonder why it is only for some of us and not others. I am using IE not firefox

I was just coming here to see if there was an issue! I've been having trouble for several days! Except until today, I could usually get it to work at some point between breakfast and dinner. ;) I can't get it to work at all today on ANY of my 3 browsers. I rarely get past the SR survey link page, sometimes I get to the "qualifier" page (does it have a name?) and then can't get past that point ever. I can't do the MyTwoCents survey either.

I was having trouble along with a lot of you, I'm on Firefox and cleared recent history as instructed above and got into one right away...finished it and got the congrats page.

Okay, so I installed Mozilla and tried with them. No luck. Exited out, recleared my computer using ccleaner, went into my usual IE8, and got right in and got a survey. :D Mighty strange this is happening today.

I have been trying unsuccessfully with IE all day. Then I just now tried with Firefox and success!!! Wonder what is causing the prob??

I finally was able to finish one just now. Now I'm off to try for an AMP. I hope the problem has been reseolved with Greenfield

did a vigorous clean with ccleaner and now I'm in... hope I can complete a survey... but at least I have a chance now...

GF seems really slow today - when I clicked on the link it's taking a long time for it to load. Anyone else having the same problems?

yes! I got tired of waiting for it to open so I closed it and will try again later.
Yep, same issue with GF here. Been trying off and on since this morning, and it just keeps loading and loading...I use Firefox on a Mac, but just tried Safari as well and it's the same thing...

I join in as well been trying off and on since 8:00 am this morning. Was in the process of doing one this am and it said that i had completed it but i didn't.:(
Seems some are getting through a other aren't.

Yep, same here. Tried to load it with IE, then Firefox, but no luck either way. I hope Tricia or Cindy will get to the bottom of it as there is definitely something wrong. FYI, I just logged in and used ccleaner prior to coming on, so that couldn't be the problem.

Yes – it is running Sooooo slow. Engineering is working on it. They have reset the server, which didn’t seem to work, so they are looking for alternative reasons/solutions. I will let you know when this is corrected. In the mean time, the system is working, just very slowly :-/

Me too, I finished a survey, but it didn't go to congrats ( or any other) screen. I don't know if it will credit. We'll see.

I just finished a survey that took a really long time to go to the congrats page (about 10 minutes!!!!). I did get the SR page, so the surveys are working!

Yes – it is running Sooooo slow. Engineering is working on it. They have reset the server, which didn’t seem to work, so they are looking for alternative reasons/solutions. I will let you know when this is corrected. In the mean time, the system is working, just very slowly :-/
Glad to know that at least it is working. Slow, that's an understatement. LOL! It has taken me 15 minutes just to get to the screen where you check what surveys you might qualify for, but I'll hang in there. Thanks for letting us know when it's fixed!

I couldn't get in this morning and didn't have time to wait for screens to load before leaving for work. I can't get in since I got home, either.
Woooo! Just got in tonight and gave it another try and FINALLY got my DS today. It was the normal loading speed, so hopefully it's ok now...
Off to try my SM survey...we'll see how that one goes...

Just keep trying - it seems to be really spotty. It was acting normally when I got in, not even slow.

Couldn't get one yesterday! So bummed! I tried ALL DAY at work, then again after 8pm when i got home from class...couldn't get on at all.... 1st day in a LONG time i haven't gotten a DS.
But i did hurry up and get my DS 1st thing this morning AND my SM too! Goth both of those out of the way by 9am!
