i know a bit about computers, but very little about which brands are good and which ones are crap. if someone wouldn't mind checking this one out and giving an opinion, i'd really appreciate it. or if you have a similar laptop, please share your thoughts about it. TIA! :sunshine2:

ok, i found another deal. i'm iffy about this one, because of the processor, but it's really just for my daughter to play games on (older games, not really sophisticated graphics). here are the specs:
15.6-inch WXGA display, 2.2GHz Celeron 900 processor, 3GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a LightScribe DVD burner, Intel GMA 4500M integrated graphics, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
is this a good deal? or a POC?

Sorry I went to bed early last night and missed this post. We use Lenovos for work and I love them. Never had an issue with one and am seriously looking at them for our personal laptops.
The second laptop seems ok. I'm not familiar with Celeron processors though so I can't speak for that. The rest of the specs are good.

That really isn't a bad price for a laptop. I'd totally order it online.
