The princess one looks good as a gift! And if you want to give as gifts now is the time to start because it can take 8-10 weeks for them to start sendingthem. I think I will get one in October sometime

Cindy actually got the Princess one and Sparkle for my girls as gifts last Christmas and they LOVED them. Sparkle is kind of like the preschool version of the Princess magazine (at least for girls). I just ordered 4 different ones for the girls because they love magazines so much. And I love that it encourages them to read when they get them. I got Preschool Playroom, Disney and Me, Nickelodeon Fun Puzzles & Games, and Disney's Princess. Plus Weight Watchers for myself. LOL!

I just got a subscription to Disney & Me for my son and we got the first one last week. It's really cute and creative! Like Tricia says, it encourages reading! He likes to take them in the car too. Actually I confiscated the one we just got and am holding it for the place ride this weekend!:)

Tricia...do you kow how long these particular subscriptions will be on sale? I have put a hold on offers until October so that I can start working toward next quarter's SM status. If it is only going to be a short time though, I'll go ahead and order the WW magazine now. I LOVE the recipes!

They didn't actually say how long they would be good for on this one. I would have to think that even if they don't continue this deal past this week, they would have it again?? Or you could even just wait until the very last day of the month and then your credit wouldn't hit until October 2 even as a SM.

That doesn't sound too good :( How long should it take for it to show up as pending in our account? Does using paypal for payment method screw things up when shopping?? :confused:

Yes, it seems using paypal messes this up. If you don't use paypal, chances are there will be no problem crediting.

I had some lengthy discussions with them in the past month about what happened earlier in the year and the guy at the company now assured me that everything has been fixed and that if I have any problems, I can go directly to him. So I made a test purchase and it tracked just fine. Someone else made a purchase and it tracked fine. But now it looks like a paypal didn't go through.

The good news is that we are now in close contact with the actual company. And the affiliate managers are the same ones from the Faith Wear purchases last week that fixed the paypal stuff for us within 24 hours. So we just need to double check that yours did not, indeed, come through last night (they are manual credits that I only post every couple of days). If for any reason it didn't, we will go to him immediately rather than waiting the 7-10 days as usual.

I think mine was just a problem b/c I used paypal to pay for it. I think everyone else who used credit cards worked fine.

Well maybe I'll give them another try. I want to get mag subscriptions for DD, DS, and DNephew for Christmas this year.
