If you clicked on the link and did what it said, you should have gotten credit instantly. If you did not, you have a definitely cookie problem.

Your number is the four digits at the end of your referral link.

To update your profile in the forum, click on the User CP link at the top left of the page. On the left hand side will be a link to Edit Profile. At the bottom will be a space to enter your Member ID.
