View Full Version : Referral Issue-How long before confirmation e-mail sent?

I have a quick question. I referred my mom to SR and she s awaiting a confirmation e-mail. How long does that take? She signed up a few days ago and then tried to sign on using her info and it said she is not confirmed yet.

Wow, when my daughter referred me a couple of months ago, I don't remember it being long at all. I'd like to say I got the confirmation right away, but the truth is it was probably within the hour. I know it wasn't very long at all. You might want to PM Tricia on this one.....:confused:

It should be instant. Have her send an email to the address on the contact page and I'll kick out another one to her. It probably went to the spam folder.

I thought it might have gone to her spam folder too but I checked it and there was nothing there. Maybe she deleted it and just didn't know it. I'll have her send an e-mail right out.

What email carrier is she using? Some of the will "eat" emails sometimes, especially ones sent automatically like this one probably was. I think yahoo is one that I have seen that has problems.

For some reason, AOL isn't recognizing her email address. I just got an email from her, but the automatic respond email that went to her immediately bounced back to me. Is there any reason that her AOL account might not be right?

I use an aol email and have from the beginning and have never had an issue getting my emails. It may be something with hers that she has a setting to reject spam have her add the email address it is coming from to her aol address book and she should be ok.

This would say to me that she needs to add SR to her email address book or change the settings on her email. HTH! This will be my last post I promise LOL :angel:

I went in to her account from my computer last night and manually changed her settings. I realized after she signed up that she was blocking everything except from people she knows. I'll check it again.

I just got into her account and there was some spam mail on there so if it isn't too much to ask, can we try it again?
