adding pictures to a thread

I am trying to add pictures to a trip report thread and I cannot! It says the picture is too big. I am not sure how to make it smaller or make it work. I really want to add some! Please help. :) Thanks guys

you can upload to photos to photo bucket as 640x480 and then use the bbcode link they provide to put the image in your post your limited to 4 images per post!

I have heard of photo bucket but am unsure what that is. Can I google it or is it something my computer already has? These kind of things make me feel really stupid. :)

Glad you found it, it is free to upload up to 1gb of photos and to use 25gbs of photos!

when you use the bulk upload you can say what size to upload at! and you can upload upto 100 photos at a time!

once you pic is loaded to photobucket you can then edit, and then resize to message board size. hth

Ok, I'm trying to figure out photo bucket so I can change my siggy photo...(because they should be small right?)anyway, I can't get it to work. I have my photos at Shutterfly & I copied the url for the photo, but it says there's no file extension (gif, jpg, jpeg, png, bmp).

Can anyone help me? TIA

Dont know much about shutterfly, but with photobucket you can resize your photo if its too big! and they give you the link just as you need to paste it on the fourms too..

I can't get my phot from Shutterfly to Photobucket though...any thoughts w/that?
