now, my question is, does that count toward our survey total for bonuses? (in my case, I had completed the survey, and then it suddenly decided I didn't qualify) I didn't get any others for that day in question.

It does not count toward the bonus because they don't actually credit them to your accounts individually. It's all done manually by me.
