What's the catch? A free debit card that Sunshine Rewards is paying us $8.00 to get? And it is loaded w/$10.00?!? There's got to be a catch....what fees are involved? And WHY do they need a SS #?

its a service obopay pays to advertise. The catch is that they want you to continue using their product and with that is a small 1% fee to add money to your card (no fees to use the card). They want your SSN# to verify that you are who you are when they issue the card if you choose that option or you can link it to a bank account. Its mainly for when you choose to reload your card they need some type of authentication so they can pull money from your source and put it on their card for you. There are lots of threads about obopay including some reviews from people who use it. Just type obopay into the search feature and it will pull lots of threads.
