End pages at merchants [Archive] - Sunshine Rewards Forum

I know the economy bites, and I know our merchants need to make money. That said, I am less than thrilled that two merchants I think highly of (Restaurant.com and Drugstore.com) have added "extras" during check out. When I checked out at restaurant.com yesterday, I was offered a "free" coupon or gift card. I clicked yes, then found out it wasn't from them but another company.
Similarly, when checking out at Drugstore today, I had a screen pop up for a free vibrator if I "tried" a sex class online.
Just my $.02.

I hate that too, and I can even overlook the gift card one a bit, but the free vibrator, not so much. I think I will certainly alert our affiliate manager to that. Thanks.

I've placed orders with both companies lately, and I did get the end page with Restaurant.com...a pain in the neck.

Thankfully, I didn't get the same end page from Drugstore.com...that is simply inappropriate!

i just hate things like that cuz im not sure where the initial offer is over. Like, the red bull survey eventually led me to a page to fill in a form to possibly win a free michael jackson shirt. nice & all... but not affiliated with the initial offer. confusing!!! lol

I have been informed by the SR powers that be that the Drugstorepop-up was due to me buying an item from the "Sexual-well being section". put it in quotes because it's something I need medically.
