Thank you all.

As for a nice weekend...I thought DS had come through his double-whammy illness (first a head cold immediately post-Disneyland, then he threw up all over ME at a grocery store the other evening), we went to lunch with a friend of mine, and when we got back he decided that he was just incredibly sick, and I spent all day helping him. And all night (woke up with a nasty little croupy cough, which I'm familiar with b/c my little brother always got croup while I got bronchitis). Thankfully DH, who is just about to give notice at his job (woohoo!), called in sick (his last sick day) to help out DS while I slept and slept and slept (b/c now I'm sick again).

So yeah, happy b'day to me! :p

On the OTHER hand, while DH was at work on Friday, some of his buddies gave him money to buy me a cake, as a thanks to me for always making THEM cakes! Guess they didn't want me to make my own cake. :p So on Monday (payday and the day we were going to celebrate anyway) I have a big ol' small-bakery-made (for anyone near or in Tacoma WA, Corina's Bakery in downtown) Devil's Food cake all ready for me to pick up. :sunshine2:

So let's just hope I'm not as sick by Monday as DS was last night!!!!!
