Official open is 6/18 but there will be soft opening prior to that date. Looks like they just squeaked through by 3 days by promising a "spring" open. Can't wait!

I can't wait to hear how it is! I'm hoping that Jillian will finish reading the last two books now that this is on the horizon. She was still 8 when she tried the first time and got too bogged down by the 5th book. Hopefully this will get her going again!

I read about the leak on facebook

Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
On Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey – the marquee attraction of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – guests will journey through iconic locations straight from the films, such as the Room of Requirement. This amazingly detailed scene is where guests board the groundbreaking ride and are drawn into the excitement and chaos of Harry’s life. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – the only place in the world where the stories of Harry Potter will come to life – grand opening on June 18.

Given that they have sold HP packages starting May 28 (including breakfast at the Three Broomsticks) this is suspected to be the celebration of the opening rather than the first day the land/ride is open.

I was just wondering how that messed with this leaked date...thanks for the interpretation :)

So Hedy when is your next trip?

August 6! I decided I couldn't wait until next year. I have to see if it's ok for the nephews to see in 2011-15 and 12 year olds are picky. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Is there anything you want me to look out for when I'm there? I must be one of the first ones going so maybe I should take a list of people's questions :rotfl:

As a side note, Mouse Unlimited's parent company, TK Travel, now books Universal Orlando vacations.

If you're heading to Orlando, or are already taking a Disney Vacation, now is a great time to hop over to Universal for a day. They'll even pick you up at your Disney Hotel for free!
