I had this happen I think last week and I did not put 2 and 2 together until this weekend.

I did a survey yesterday and it took me back to the SR page and said I had completed the study. Ok. I even checked to see if I could take another survey and it gave the message that I had exceeded the daily limit.
THEN I cleared my cookies so I could try some offers and I went to put my info back into the survey area to be ready for today and I guess since I used a different email address to put my info in to prepare for today than I did for my Sunday survey(DH took it) that it was allowing me to take a second survey.
I was scared to try again because I did not want to get into trouble for taking 2 surveys. So when I put my dh's info back in it said I had exceeded the limit and I went back a second time and put MY info back in and it would have allowed me to take another one.

I did not take another one yesterday because I was going to take a chance that it really DID credit. I did get credit for the one my dh took so I am glad that I did not try another one.

Do you think that the surveys are not taking our user ID into account and that is why some people have been able to get two surveys in one day...by changing their email address and info???

Tricia...I THINK this might be why I got credit for 2 surveys last weekend. I am not sure if that is why it happened or not. If you need to take the extra .80 from my account I will understand.

I think what happens is that Greenfield is using the email addresses to track which surveys you have done and whether or not you have completed a survey for the day. This is why people are sometimes able to get more than one survey or take the same survey twice. If someone clears cookies and changes email addresses then chances are that Greenfield will allow them to take another survey and they will be credited for both. So far this had only happened occasionally by mistake. It is a glitch in the system of Greenfield. We don't keep the extra credits or ban people for having more than one credit a day because sometimes it just happens. However, if someone were to start taking advantage of the loophole to get multiple surveys it would become an issue with SR and possibly with Greenfield since their rules are one survey per person per day. I have also seen that sometimes I will get double credits if I get kicked out midsurvey because of a technical issue and then am allowed to go back in and do another survey. Sometimes I end up with credit for both but because there is no way to know I always continue to complete surveys until I get the "you have exceeded" message. Once you see that message you can be sure you will be getting credit for a survey and should stop trying.
