Ok, I've done a few of the offers, freebies, surveys over the last week. Obviously, they generate quite a few emails. :)

My question is do I need to respond to any of these emails to get credit?

yes, if it's a confirmation email.

Before you do an offer, clear your mailbox. That way it's a lot easier to find the confirmation email. Not all offers have a confirmation and I've found that not all offers require you to click on the confirmation to get credit, but you never know ahead of time.
