I have never filled out a trouble ticket before and I need to fill one out for a slae credit i never received. I submitted one the other day and it does not show in pending trouble ticket. Where did it go? It says something about having a header on the email? I don't know what this is?

What email program do you use (outlook, outlook expres, email through IE...hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc)?

It will be easier to explain how to get the headers since it is different in some.

(My untechnical explanation: they are a source code/time stamp for emails)

I guess it is( IE )internet explorer? I am not computer savy! Comcast.net is my home page and my provider and I just do my email from their home page. Does that make sense?
Thanks:)

Ok, that's easy, I use Comcast also.

In the Comcast mail, click on your message.

Up near the top, to the right of From: To: Subject: Date: is a link [View Source].

Click that, and a smaller window will pop up.

Copy everything on that page and paste into your trouble ticket in the section Confirmation Email (with headers).

Let me know if you got that, it is hard to put into words!

I think I found the link "view source". Now my question is, Do I use this with a copy of the email i received from Disney Shopping showing my order? Is that what is my "header"? I feel so stupid when it comes to computers.
Thanks, Eva

Don't feel stupid! This is a very common question.

If you look at the view source text (throughout/down the page) all of the details about the order should be there, just in plain text.

If it is, then that is all you have to submit.

It would look like this, with all the gobbly-gook different (and yes, that is a technical compter term :) )
