Exceeded Daily Total Survey HELP

I took a survey at 11 pm last night (finally). But today I keep getting the page that says I exceeded my daily total. I haven't done one today, but I need one every day to get to 20. Please help! It doesn't seem fair I'll miss my bonus because of this lock-out.

I've heard of a few people struggling with this problem. I'm not sure why it's happening to some, but not others (I'm definitely not having that problem - I did a survey yesterday at 5pm and just did another one this morning at 9am). So very strange. I wonder if you're somehow picking up a weirdo cookie from greenfield that some of us are not??

When did you actually complete the survey? I know you said you started it around 11. If it drug out until after midnight they are counting it for today's survey not yesterday and that is why you are exceeding your limit. Unfortunately this is a Greenfield thing (and they have been screwy lately) and nothing that SR can help you with.

I don't know about the OP, but I did my survey at 7pm EST yesterday, so that shouldn't be an issue.

No, I was done before midnight. I was in bed before midnight.

It can't be email address, because I don't get that far.

Greenfield always had it set up so that people could only take surveys every 24 hours, not once per day. Recently they changed that and made it once per day. I am stuck in the same cycle that you are that only allows me to take one every 24 hours. Make sure you check back later today and if it still says the exceeded message you will have to wait until closer to the 11:00 mark to complete another survey. Unfortunately there isn't anything that SR can do since the surveys are controlled by Greenfield and not SR.

I've had this problem since last Thursday. See my other posts in surveys.
I get it all day long the exceed message until after 9 pm (it seems to coinside with the nightly update around 9pm) once that update runs I'm able to get in and get a survey. I got the message again this morning, but I know after 9pm tonight I'll be able to get one. It's been 9 straight days of the same thing.
It wasn' tlike this before so either last week when Greenfield was having issues or when SR went on vaca something happened. Like they're using a back up (which is why I believe it's greenfield) from before and while some of us can only do one 1 every 24 hrs instead of once a day.

I will say though that even though I have to wait until 9pm to get one, I never have a problem qualifying for one, it's like the system has been reset and I have a ton to choose from???? So again it stinks bc I have to remember to do it after 9pm but BEFORE i go to bed, but I've been able to get one and they've been really easy!!

I'm finding the exact same thing, though I haven't been in that loop for 9 days yet. Actually yesterday was the first day I noticed it (but it was also the first day since last weekend that I was able to try a survey earlier in the day). By last night I was able to get one. Now this morning, I've exceeded the daily limit, but I'm sure by tonight I'll be able to try again.

The reason I said use another email address is this: Last week when Greenfield really went wacky, I had taken a survey the evening before at probably around 5 or 6 pm. The next day for a hour or so it came up that I had exceeded my daily limit.
I knew I had not taken a survey for that current day so I cleared my cookies so that forces the Greenfield part to reset and you have to fill out all the info like income,birthdate,age range AND email address. I put in a different email address and once I did that I was immediately able to get a survey for that day.

This has happened a couple more times to me since Greenfield has been so wacky but each time if I clear my cookies and then put all the beginning info in again with a different email address then I am then able to get a survey.

I find this all so odd. I have not had this problem, but I have so much trouble even getting 1 survey that I have gotten into the habit of clearing my cookies before I even start a survey. I always use the same e-mail address however.:confused:

If you go into your cookies and delete ones labeled "survey," you can get your in for the day.
